The Coffee Club Café - Stafford City — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Overpriced & Expensive, No Presentation at all, Not even hot, took nearly 40 mins to get the toasted sandwich & there was only 5 other people in the place before me! Three stringy bits of Spanish Onion on the Toasted Sandwich, the ham was cheap shoulder ham that was frozen & highly processed - full of fat & water content (not even off the bone etc.) And it tasted like it had half a kilo of cooking salt dumped on the toasted sandwich. I sat at the table for approx. 45mins with it pushed away from me not eaten & the one floor staff that kept coming out not once came near my table or made eye contact with me, in fact she purposely looked the other way. I stopped at the next table talking to the matured aged woman there & she was disgusted in her toasted sandwich & requested a take away container as soon as it arrived as it took that long! She had a milkshake which she had already finished & told me it was the wrong flavour not to mention warm & it was so expensive so wouldn't be able to afford to eat that night on her pension now! Hence she was taking her toasted sandwich home. I actually wrapped my 3/4 of a sandwich up in the napkin & took home for my hubby. I also ordered a bottle of Lemonade & glass of ice & think I got perhaps 4 half-melted cubes of ice with a warmish bottle of Lemonade... Nothing was enticing to go back! Especially when you look at the dirty cabinet glass & some of the cakes looked dry or old... And the portions have shrunk & prices increased ie Carrot Cake & no garnish no nothing...!! When you can go to another Cafe in the centre & get better value, friendlier staff & definitely quicker service without a sodium overload, etc..... Coffee Cafe really have gone to...

Don’t order here unless you want them to take your money and refuse to make your order. (Apparently the money will be refunded in the next 4-7 days which is ridiculous!)

Paid for 2 coffees through the QR code, waited over 15 minutes and eventually went up to the counter. Apparently my order hadn’t come through despite the money being taken out of my account. I was told that because the order wasn’t in their system They weren’t able to give me my coffee, this was after I had shown them my bank statement which had clearly had money taken out by them! The lady on the counter was lovely and tried to help but the manager took over and his service was disgusting, Between the eye rolls and groaning the service was downright rude, from the manager none the less. I still don’t understand how I clearly paid for the drinks and they refused to make them! Claimed there system was faulty but that is there...

I ordered breakfast and a hot chocolate( very hot). Hot chocolate arrived, barely warm. I sent it back and received another tepid chocolate. When my meal arrived, I sent the chocolate back for a refund. When the manager gave me the refund, I asked why she couldn't give a hot chocolate( the name for a HOT drink) she explained that they can only make them to a certain temperature( cold), so I asked if when someone orders tea in a pot do they pour boiling water in the pot or tepid water..she didn't get it. Anyway, the omelette was also nearly room temperature, but the TOAST was still hot, and with the time it took for my mealto arrive, I wasn't sending that back....why is it that these days service doesn't mean a thing. Why go out and spend money for sub service when one can make it at home cheaper and...
