MOBI CAFÉ — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Was our first time here last Thurs morning and our coffee were great (long black and taro latte), the barista and cashier were friendly.

Decided to visit again this weekend. This time it was a different barista/cashier (only one person today). We ordered a Small taro latte and a small long black. After payment, we realised that the price did not match up so we approached the barista to clarify our orders (within couple mins, as there were ppl behind us when we ordered). We clarified our orders — the barista had assumed that we ordered iced taro latte and iced long black, without clarifying this when we ordered. Thankfully he had not made our coffee at this point. Our coffee were served but he did not offer to refund the cost difference. We waited couple mins as there were people waiting to order. When we approached, he mentioned that they’ll usually not refund after orders are made (which is fair). But we clarified our orders before he made our coffee, so I was slightly taken back by his attitude because clearly he made assumptions on customer’s order to start with. Regardless, he did refund us.

My husband took a sip of his coffee after we have left the cafe and he made him a latte instead of long black!! My husband is lactose intolerant. We drove all this way to get a coffee that we could not have. What a...

Inconsistent product. Pictured was a good day (the Vietnamese coffee was terrible though) from my last visit.

Today, I ordered the iced espresso milk tea with pearls and a latte plus a doppio, but the guy serving didn't know what a doppio was, misunderstood that I wanted three drinks total (i.e., the pearl milk tea, the latte, AND a double shot - admittedly few people in this area order straight shots, and it was a rather ambiguous phrasing), and the resulting bubble tea was watery AF compared to last time....

The tall guy in glasses was rude every time He is only kind to people in his own country many of my friends felt that way I often visited this cafe because it was tasty, but I will never go again

He even refused to order a mug on a previous visit. But he served coffee in mugs to people who are from his country and say no to us it was unfair

I don't care if you don't do kindly At least don't be rude to people
