Hakataya Ramen Warrigal Square Shop — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Went there with my daughter to get our usual ramen yesterday afternoon. We found the ramen served were under cooked, and the ramen noodles were gooie unlike the usual hard noodles teasting. Told the staff, and she was apologising and offering re-making of ramen. However, we have only limited time tas we need to go to our next appointment. So, we were unable to take the offer.

As we were leaving, the staff found out the noodle cooking stove was not working. So, ramen noodles were not boiled and cooked properly even though the timer for noodles cooking was on.

Later that night, both of us had slightly upset stomachs. I have Hakataya Ramen for about at least 12 to 15 years at various stores as a regular customer. This is the first time I have had such experience.

I am a bit disappointed with equipment failure that staff was unable to identify immediately, which is vital for the food...

Monday, 12th Sep 2022. Always been a Hakataya Ramen fan. Arrived at peak dinner time 6pm. Lots of people and nearly all tables taken, but there is only 1 lady working in the whole of the shop!? Cooking, taking orders, packing, cleaning the tables etc etc. Despite how busy/stressful the environment was, she was extremely friendly and lovely, tried her very best to do her job without letting the customers wait for too long however I can see how overwhelming it was. Owner of Hakataya Ramen, please if you see this employ another staff member! 1 lady running the whole restaurant during peak dinner service is borderline overworking your staff. Putting 3 stars to gain your attention otherwise 5 stars. Love your ramen but please for the sake of your staff employ at least 1...

I have been eating Hakataya Ramen for more than 10 years! I have 3 children and I consistently ate Hakataya Ramen through all my pregnancies. It is my favourite type of Ramen and as a result, my three children- now aged 11, 7 and 6 beg me for Hakataya Ramen every week! It is a firm favourite in our family! The Warrigal Square restaurant is our top favourite, as the service is SO friendly & professional. The manager- Bobby has watched my children grow up over the years & he is absolutely AMAZING! A hard working and kind man, always offering friendly service with a big smile on his face.
