Food: Average tasting & questionable quality. Service: Poor. Table wasn't set. Cutlery, plate or bowl needed to eat with wasn't provided after food was served. We asked multiple times for item we had ordered and each piece of cutlery when restaurant was half-full. We sat there for 10 minutes staring at our food getting cold while waiting for rice and cutlery that wouldn't come. Finally had to get up to get it ourselves. Price: Not worth it. Expensive for what and how we were served. 80 bucks spent for a humble 2-dish dinner. Ambience: Cheap wooden chopsticks, non-maintained services & venue.
All in all everything is better elsewhere....

The flavors here hit differently—absolutely bold and full of that true Sichuan kick. Tried the Spicy Stir-fried Pork Kidney (腰花), and it was perfectly tender with just the right amount of heat. The Boiled Fish in Chili Broth (沸腾鱼)? Oh, so silky and flavorful, with spices that warm your soul. You can tell they don’t hold back on authenticity—exactly like how it’s done back home! Great for group dinners too; the portions are generous, and the vibe is cozy but lively. If you’re craving a taste of real Sichuan in Brisbane, this is...

The flavors are spot on, just like home for anyone missing that classic spicy kick. We tried the "Fire Explosion Kidneys" (火爆腰花)—super tender, with that perfect wok hei—and the "Spicy Chicken" (辣子鸡), which was crispy, fragrant, and had just the right heat. Loved how the spice hit but didn’t overpower. Ideal for group dining too; we saw lots of families and friends around us sharing big platters. Definitely adding this to my must-visit list for anyone wanting authentic Chinese food...
