Have only been about 5 times and each time the service has been absolutely disgraceful. Every single time, there has been something majorly wrong with the order. I mean entire patties missing, drinks completely wrong, entire items missing (a pack of chips, etc.) - but this time it really took the cake. Today, they had run out of ice cream, half their drinks and their BURGER BUNS. They offered to put our burgers on wraps - we were so hungry, we said yes. Mistake #1. The girl at the mic didn't even let us finish ordering, we were just told to drive through without being asked if we were done and we also waited in the drive through for about 20 mins. We finally got our order, took it home, and were shocked to see what we got. Not only was it disgusting, IT WAS ENTIRELY THE WRONG ORDER. We ordered a large double cheeseburger meal w/ no onions or pickles and a double whopper cheese w/ no pickles or tomato. What we received was the saddest thing I have ever seen in my entire life: a "single cheeseburger" wrap that was dry and hard, with a burnt patty, and added mayo and bbq sauce + half a slice of cheese; a double patty wrap that was dry and burnt with lettuce, added pickles and onions, added ketchup and mayo; ONE packet of fries; and two small packets of nuggets. And to top it all off, we now both feel very ill - not surprising after past orders and after seeing other reviews about their horrible health regulations. This place is run by untrained, uncaring children. When we got to the window, there was 5 people in total - one was the girl serving us, the others were all standing around talking, not making or doing anything with a full line-up of cars behind us. The girl serving was the only one being productive. We will never be returning to this disgusting place and I hope everyone else does the same. Either almost everyone there needs to be fired and replaced with properly trained staff that don't act rude and entitled, or the place needs to be shut down. I used to work at Subway for $13 p/h at 17yrs old (3 years ago) and I would still produce better made items and give a better service than these kids. Absolutely appalling...

As discussed the customer drives back 1.5hrs later to pick up missing burger. The (now hungry)customer then waits 28min in the drive through (couldn't walk in as 2 sleepy kids in car). Gets given an apology of ...'it was really busy'. A simple 'I am so sorry' would suffice..... not an excuse. HJ staff then say 'is it just the burger'? Customer says, 'well I had to drag kids back into car to drive out of my way to then wait 28mins for the burger that I paid for and wanted 2 hrs ago, maybe a voucher?' 'HJ then says, oh yes a voucher', please drive through to the next window. At the next window, the customer opens up her bag and sees only a burger..... no voucher, no chips or drink as a 'sorry we stuffed up your evening'. Confused the customer then said, 'um there is supposed to be a voucher?' What do you think happened? After much (calm) forward and back discussion, the customer is given a Slushie. I am sure, only to get her out of the drive through! By the way....... the burger was awful!!! Moral of the story....... don't go to HJ at Algester, the drive through is the slowest ever, worst chips and burgers I have ever had at a HJ and they could do with some (a lot) customer service work! Read moreI was driving through area today and stopped for a drink and bathroom break. The state of the bathrooms should have been my queue to leave the store. What can go wrong with a drink order? I ordered three drinks and politely whispered “your bathrooms are quite dirty atm…” the girl gave me and death stare. I walked away and waited for my drinks. Other then a delivery driver who was waiting when I walked in, we were the only two customers. Another customer came for a pre order but I don’t have that much time to write his experience but he commented how bad the customer service was and I said I’d have to agree I’m waiting for drinks. The girl then, looked at the screen, walked over to her co worker and said “she’s be waiting two mins, f&@k that!” And kept walking. No one was actually working! I immediately said I wanted a refund and to see the manager. He came out and proceeded to refund me. He did not probe with questions, just refunded me. However, the whole time the two girls stood there ridiculing me, yelling I went in there swearing at them. I said to the manager how shocked I was that they are still behaving in this manner with him present to witness their behaviour. For the duration of my refund onto my card they did not work, just stood throwing insults and accusations. In all my years, I have never witnessed such behaviour, unprofessionalism and lack of respect (for themselves included.) When I was leaving the manager called the girl out the back.
