A dismal Hungry Jacks experience that was memorable. I was not going to review the Carseldine H J's until I had emailed management, however hope this gains their attention. I have the H Jacks app and use quasi regularly, however after my experience on Wednesday the 23/10/2024 around midday, I will never go there again. I placed an order through the app for a plant based whopper. Customers came and went while my order number remained stagnant, with even staff becoming frustrated by how long the order, one burger was taking. I witnessed this as after approximately 20 minutes i was now standing at the service counter waiting and saw the chaos unfolding. I was about to enquire on the burger when another unsatisfied customer returned his chicken i believe it was. He was furious as the chicken was still raw somehow??? Staff were in a frenzy as he refused to have any chicken and ordered a burger as replacement. He was provided with a burger and an insincere apology. Counter staff then yelled to the kitchen, 'still waiting on plant based'. I was eventually provided with burger and only given a tired 'sorry' from the manager 'Aby'. After around 30 minute wait, i left with said burger, only to find it not hot and of a dismal level of quality only matched by the stores filthy amenities, level of general cleanliness and poor customer service. Read moreI've been coming here for years, never had a bad experience until last night. I understand fast food is not the best job and a lot of fast food workers get treated horribly. However Friday 03/06 at 7:20ish pm, to the chubby girl with brown hair and I think a nose ring at the second window of the drive through, if you hate your job THAT much, you should quit.
She left the window to talk talk to her friend at the counter, holding up traffic when my food was sitting there for over a minute or so. When she came up, she threw the window open, I politely said "hello" In response she threw the bag into my car, my chips went everywhere in the bag. I said "thank you?" and in response, she gave me a filthy look and literally slammed the drive through window in my face and walked away.
This has got to be one of the WORST experience I've had through fast food / drive through. Seriously if you hate your job that much, that you're going to be THAT rude to people, you need to quit.
Looking at all the recent 1 star reviews, I would encourage management to make a staff change....
Read moreAppalling. Manager yelling at staff to “not do it that way” from front of house is disgusting. Waiting 4 minutes to be served after being ignored- not good enough when only 1 other person is in store and eating. A stressed sweaty manager running about frantic when he only has 3 basic orders in drive thru to deal with, leaves me thinking he’d me a mess at peak hour. Having my drink order taken when a machine was flashing as not working and then waiting to be told “yeah sorry about that” is pretty condescending. The food safe practices going on out the back with the cheese has me thinking I won’t ever order cheese on a burger again. And when I said to the manager “I’d hate to see how you go when the store is really busy”, he said something rude back which I chose to ignore. All round a horrible experience. Hope I never need to come back. I’d be mortified if I was the owner. Not good enough. 8 minutes to wait for a Coffee and a hash...
