Jindalee Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Absolutely incredible experience, my new favourite cafe. The food was amazing, staff were friendly, drinks were delicious, atmosphere was beautiful, and the owner was so, so lovely.

I’ll start with the drinks. We got the cappuccino and the mocha frappe. The cappuccino was so creamy, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. The mocha frappe had such a nice flavour and came with sweet whipped cream.

I got the DIY breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, and mushrooms. My favourite part was the mushroom. It had such an incredible garlicky flavour and they were cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a try if you’re a mushroom fan. The bacon was perfectly crisp and crunchy, easy to cut through and not fatty at all. The avocado was so fresh and vibrant, creamy and well cut. The egg was perfect for me, a nice hard scramble as asked for, not watery nor too rubbery. The bread was definitely the star of the show, both me and my partner were pleasantly delighted by the soft, buttery texture and the nice crisp outer crust. There was such a big portion for an amazing price, definitely worth the buy.

My partner got the Aussie breakfast which came with a hashbrown, bacon, mushroom, beans, poached eggs, and cheesy kranksy sausage. The poached egg was perfectly cooked and had a creamy texture and amazing taste. The bacon, again perfectly crisp and delicious, as well as the previously mentioned mushrooms which were just divine. The hashbrown was nice and crispy with a really good potatoey flavour. The beans were beans, well cooked and nice flavour. The kranksy was my partners favourite. It was so cheesy and flavourful with a really nice texture.

During our meal, the owner came over to our table and gave us a FREE strawberry lemon curd muffin that he had made himself. This was the highlight of the whole meal. Not only was it such a sweet gesture, but also an incredible dessert. The base was perfectly fluffy and delicious, not too sweet which was perfect when paired with the tart lemon curd and the fresh strawberries on top. Next time I come, I’ll definitely be purchasing one for myself.

The staff were so friendly and lovely from the moment we came in to the moment we left. And the atmosphere, a beautiful industrial look which felt cosy and comfortable.

Tucked inside a bustling shopping centre, this café is a hidden gem that pleasantly surprised me. It’s beautifully kept, with a clean, modern feel that immediately puts you at ease. What really stands out is the variety on the menu – there’s a great selection of meals and drinks, making it more than just a quick coffee stop.

The coffee was excellent – rich, smooth, and with a mellow flavour that I think many Asian palates would especially appreciate. It’s the kind of cup that doesn’t overwhelm, but really satisfies. The staff were kind and attentive, with a level of service that felt genuinely thoughtful.

There are open-air seats just outside the café, which are perfect if you want to enjoy your meal in a breezy, relaxed setting. This was my first time at Jindalee cafe and it definitely is worth revisiting!

The area is really nice, really welcoming it is quite bustling so if you prefer more a quiet place maybe go when it’s not too busy. The workers were nice the area was a little small. The tables were quite close to eachother and it was a little bit of a hassle to get into. Other then than that it was really nice.

The food variety was really big. There was so much I couldn’t decide and the prices are relatively reasonable. But the portions oh my goodness it’s so big!!! Worth the money definitely!!! The food was really delicious , it did take longer than I expected but it was a little busy but that’s okay. The drinks came out fast and were really good!!! The atmosphere was white lively and really welcoming.
