Sushi Shou Jindalee — Restaurant in Brisbane City

First and last time here tonight.ordered 2”bento boxes” which looked great in the photos Sadly both bento boxes were about 30 % rice ( very ordinary rice) and 4 small “sushi” pieces the rice was cheap tasteless dry chaff -where only sushi rice should be used.

The “ salad” was the generic “ 3 different green leaves” you can buy in 20 kg catering packs - my “ seafood teriyaki” was bland as was my partners “ salmon teriyaki”

25 % of the “salad “ and “ teriyaki” was carrot ( as carrot is very cheap)

The best dish was the plastic bowl of miso soup - as all you have to do is add hot water to miso paste 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 ( out of the 20 kg catering pack”)

$44 ($22 per bento box) - was worth $15 per box tops.

Lovely staff- sadly the food was worthless

Save your money and go to “ Tokyo on express” at Toowong...

We haven't had good experiences here. Last visit was appalling. We love Japanese cuisine and only really go here out of convenience and limitations of time. The food is ok but it comes with some very unfriendly and disinterested staff. It has been our experience that our order and questions are an inconvenience.

The shop itself it ill kept and unappealing with boxes of stock out front and on the floor. The tables outside need cleaning. It's certainly no where you would want to sit to eat. It's a pity the shop could be more welcoming and less like a back store room. We recently went to Sushi Shou at Richlands -wow ten out of ten for food, service...

We’ve been coming here for many years. Best sushi. My favourites are the Dragon Roll and Rainbow Roll. Love the Chicken Curry. We have also ordered sushi platters several times and they are always fresh delicious and super popular. Pretty much anything on the menu anything we’ve ordered has been superb.

As for the lack of eye contact and being rude, the poor guy is always super busy taking orders. In person orders, Ubereats and all the online delivery orders and their own phone orders it gets super busy. Can highly recommend this place as a very very regular and long...
