Lanna House Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The waitress was really kind and had great energy, I’ll start there. However, my pad Thai was missing half the ingredients and tasted terrible. There were no veggies/ toppers as listed, only beef and noodles. When I called them about it, the waitress had asked (who I assume) was the chef, and they spoke about how to rectify it. The chef (assuming) had told the waitress to tell me I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant if I wanted a refund. Meanwhile, I was about to throw it out and no doubt the restaurant would’ve done the same thing. Waste of fuel and time, and a poor resolution offered...

Truly excellent Thai food delightfully presented at quite reasonable prices. Charming staff. Very friendly service. Surprisingly, never crowded because of some recent nearby construction work having killed business somewhat. I really love the Tom Kha, and the tamarind duck. It's certainly the most unusual massaman curry I have ever had but totally delicious. I highly recommend this place. They do licensed or BYO and several extremely delicious mocktails.

Update: still just as good as ever, but the wait staff are now wearing...
