Sushi Jun — Restaurant in Brisbane City

It kills me to write this because I can see that this is a small family run business but; not only was I charged three times what I was expecting and given the wrong order… the quality also wasn’t up to scratch.

I walked in quite hungry and asked for three hand rolls of fresh tuna avacado and one roll of teriyaki chicken. I was expecting to get regular sushi rolls with the seaweed on the outside and spend maybe 15 dollars.

I got three full packets of cooked tin tuna avo and one full packet of teriyaki chicken… it cost me $60 dollars.

There is no display of what you’re ordering, just a sample of the plastic packets they use to contain your food. No one thought to clarify my order and unfortunately the quality of the rice was not what I would expect from a good sushi store.

Not worth it!

I'm new to this area and love to test out the sushi spots around.

I was so hopefully for this to be good, however it was not good quality sushi at all. Don't even get me started on the price!! If you want walk out with an empty wallet and hunger in your stomach then all means go here.

I ordered what I thought was a crab roll however it was that nasty imitation meat. In Australia if you advertise crab roll you expect crab. The restaurant needs to change their wording of this if their not going to serve the real thing.

If I had also known I would be waiting an entire 20 minutes I would've reconsidered going there.

Won't be coming back my money is best spent at Sushi Guru Stafford. They have affordable prices as well as decent...

They were all very lovely however the food was not the best. I found the menu hard to understand- All I wanted was a standard roll of sushi! They seem to be well priced (I found out after I paid $5 for what I thought was a standard roll, which was actually a double - so not bad value after all). Unfortunately the taste wasn't great. The rolls were also not connected at the seam and I couldn't pick them up at all! This was my main point of needing them - for my toddler to hold and enjoy. On a positive note, they were very friendly, however I feel a language barrier...
