Market Organics Albion — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Wednesday 09.06.2021 around 11am I came to the shopp for the first time with my three clients. I work in disability care and I came with clients (older quiet people) to buy a bunch of flowers. We stood in front of the cabinet where the flowers were on display and talked about which bunch of flowers to buy. Suddenly a staff (Asian lady) who where behinde counter started yelling at us, "get out of here I have to work". I told her why she was yelling at us, we just wanted to buy flowers and that kind of behavior was wrong. I warned her that these were disabled people and that it was wrong. She said that she did not care and that the store was not a hospital. These people looked at the flowers calmly and there was no need for such behavior. We left the store very disappointed and I don’t believe we will ever come to that store again. I didn’t have time to complain to the manager about her behavior, but I promised her that I would put everything on that shopp’s website. My review is purely for the nursery. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you are buying plants. I found the plants to be overpriced for the quality (30% more than 2 shops we went to afterwards). We also purchased a pot that didn’t end up working with our space, and when we called to ask about returning it the nursery owner was incredibly rude… she made personal comments about me and barely would hold a conversation in lieu of reacting at my question. We have been going to market organics Clayfield for 4 years now and its our only go to now Clayfield markets is gone. At Market Organic staff is awesome (although some lessons on how to pack boxes and bags with newer staff needs to happen! - but this is the only thing that drives me nuts but the staff who have been there longer are great and always welcoming.
