'Yiros Albion' - More like 'Yeah Gross - Albion'

Ordered a Yiros expecting a delicious afternoon treat after a hard day of assisting the community in my job. There I am, eagerly awaiting my Yiros App delivery of a chicken Yiros to hold me over until dinner only to find the rude shock that awaited me in the heat sealed bag of heck that arrived. The chicken, was in fact lamb...

Now i'm not sure if all the chickens in the world were on holiday and the sheep pulled a double shift to cover them but I find that scenario highly unlikely.

Look, while I am about to literally perish from hunger, I could deal with waiting for the driver to return the food and replace the meat. However, upon calling 'Yeah Gross (Yiros) Albion' they informed me there was nothing that they could do, and I would have to bring the food back to them.

The order on Ubereats clearly asks for Chicken and it's recorded on there. They acknowledge that, but are not willing to replace the order delivery. So here I am with a Yiros I cannot eat, a Yiros App driver still sitting outside in the rain wondering what to do, client work (for the elderly and disabled) delayed due to anger and hunger, and a Yiros shop attendee refusing to rectify a chicken-lamb-mixup they admit to making.

What has the world come to where a Yiros shop won't right it's wrongs? What's next? Who's next? Could this happen to you if you order from Yiros Albion? Based on my experience it's happened for 100% of the time i've ordered from Yiros Albion (once - and never again!)

ADDIT - I have sent a follow up email after the manager replied to this review and a year later there is still no response. Maybe the customser service manager never returned because this place is awful.

Very disappointing customer service. Sent the below in an email privately to the business as I am not one to leave a public bad review, however it has been 5 days and I haven’t heard back…

I ordered 2 x medium chips, 2 x medium Yiros and a large snack pack. After waiting half an hour for my meal, I arrived home only to realise there was no large snack pack and the chips were small instead of medium. I then had to drive back to the store and inform the staff of the mistake. They recognised me instantly and presented me the large snack pack, that had been forgotten. I politely requested for the meal to be made fresh, as it was now cold, and for a refund, as I had wasted time and petrol driving back to the store. The staff were apologetic, however said I was only entitled to a fresh meal or a refund, not both. This was very disappointing as given yesterday was a public holiday, I had paid an additional surcharge on my meal totallying $61.30 and spent the unnecessary additional money on fuel because of a mistake made by the staff. I agreed on a fresh meal, without any additional compensation, only to get out to my car and realise the order was wrong again, meaning I had to go back to the...

This place is a HARD no from me. Ordered a chicken & a lamb yiros. I live down the road from this place & when I got home our yiros was stone cold. So we took our yiros back, we were told by the cashier that they turn their meat spit off by 5pm & the meat sits in hot water bain marie WHAT? Hello yiros shop? Meat on a skewer. Not meat sitting in hot water bain maree. This was at 7pm on a Saturday night & the store doesnt close until 9pm. We were given replacement yiros, guess what, they were lukewarm at best. In the process we were given a medium replacement instead of a large. But I digress. I hope we don't end up with food poisoning with the meat sitting in that water for all...

Albion Yiros shop is the most disgusting yiros I had had by far it was good 6 months ago but since then I have been there twice both times they served uncooked chicken, bacon and chips my partner was extremely sick last time we ate this, I tried to call and the staff answered the phone and immediately hung the phone up before anyone could say a word. Completely disgraceful service so, I drove back for a refund the second time and all I copped was attitude and was forced to sit there for 20 minutes waiting for the useless staff to call the manager for them to hand me the refund without an apology or anything. Eat here if you feel like salmonella served on bread with cold chips. PUTRID

The staff don't know how to make a giro. They leave the bread completely open and the meat is wet so it ends up a wet soggy mess, quite impossible to eat without a knife and fork. Seriously just drain the meat like a real restaurant would. The flavours are actually ok but learn how to make something that works - see the pic of wet soggy mess and a pool of juice on the table - even the plate couldn't cope. I'd love to see one of the staff try to eat what they serve as a demo, they're all just kids so don't know any better I guess.
