Food Being just my wife and I, we stuck to a fairly simple ordering protocol; starting with two drinks, followed by an entrée and then two mains, supplemented by an extra glass of our fav “Squealing Pig” Sauvignon blanc to wash it all down. For the entrée, we chose the “calamari fritti” with citrus aioli ($14), while the mains were the “chicken supreme” ($27) and the Moroccan lamb pizza ($26). The calamari was soft and chewy; accompanied by a smooth and creamy aioli sauce. Perfect way to start the evening. And the mains didn’t disappoint either. My wife's chicken supreme was a tasty and satisfying dish, with generous pieces of succulent chicken, served with fresh rocket salad, potato cakes that were as soft as butter, and garlic sauce. My Moroccan lamb had lashings of tender lamb slices, cheese, spinach and caramelised onion. As good as any you’d get at any Italian pizzeria. Portion sizes were generous and we both enjoyed our meals. Presentation was neat on smart, modern crockery. Service We were warmly greeted on arrival by the manager, and shown to a nice table on the outdoor terrace, in the part of the venue, known as the “Cucina Restaurant”. This is the kind of place where you’ll feel welcome the moment you walk in. Amy, our server for the night, was polite, friendly and efficient. She was perceptive too, helping us to choose the right table, in a quieter part of the restaurant. Our order was promptly taken and drinks, entrees and main courses came out in a steady clip and in the correct order. It was a pleasure to enjoy such professional service. Thanks Amy. Vibe The Albion is a stylish, airy and spacious venue with multiple dining areas, inside and outside, pub style or bistro style: there’s something for everyone. It exudes history and old world charm and if you take a walk down the corridor you’ll see a pic of the original hotel built in the 1860s, alongside a framed narrative of the story of the site. As a history buff, I loved that. Furniture is comfy with colourful wicker chairs and solid steel tables that were able to fit all the drinks and the meals. The vibe is relaxed, casual and laid back. Tables are well spaced out, meaning that acoustics were good and we were easily able to converse. But I guess as the weather cools, indoor dining would be more suitable and you’ll have plenty of choice of where to sit. Cost We paid 88 for three drinks, including a pint of my fav Gt Northern Super Crisp Ale at the specials price of only 6, an entrée and two mains. Given the excellent quality of the food, generous portion sizes and efficient service, it was money well spent. But it really just goes to show the extent to which inflation, driven by massive govt overspending and free money for all, has completely eroded the value of our little Aussie peso. Toilets Toilets are clean and well provisioned with soap and hand towels. They’re clearly signposted and easy to find in the middle of the venue. Parking There is a car park right in front of the venue, which also serves the adjacent BWS Liquor Store. Apparently payment is required to park, but if you give your car reg to the manager, he’ll make sure that you aren’t charged. Having the BWS liquor store right there is handy and convenient, as you can stock up the liquor cabinet on your way out. Summary We had a fab night at the Albion and everything ran smoothly. The Albion is part of the A.L.H. Group of hotels. We’ve dined at many of them in and around Bris and never been disappointed. The Albion was no exception and it completely met all our expectations. Here you’ll find all the ingredients for a laid back, relaxed and super comfy night out with family and/or friends. We’ll definitely be back.

Visited on a Friday night and used the Entertainment Book voucher to get the 2 for 1 deal. We were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of food compared to some of the other local pub food we've tried. The Sicilian Marinated Salmon and the Baked Spiced Honey Duck Breast were both delicious and well worth the money. The duck breast was juicy, tender, matched well with the crispiness of red cabbage and greens. The salmon was also cooked to perfection and nicely marinated with citrus oil. And who knew sweet potato fries would go so well with salmon, mushrooms and broccolini! Both dishes have left us wanting for more. We enjoyed our dinner in the outdoor garden with live music in the background. Staff were approachable and courteous in general. We wouldn't mind coming back again.

Mine & partners first visit here...absolutely awesome...the staff are great and very helpful...an unassuming venue from street's view but you get in there and it's a whole 'nother world...cosy decor lots of different areas..our food was amazing..my partner had the wagyu which I tried and..am I allowed to say? Absolutely orgasmic! I had the crispy skin barra which I absolutely enjoyed and the oyster kil didn't disappoint The wines are decently priced..there's also large scale timber made games & i noticed doggy bowls as well..not your average run of the mill pub...we'll definitely try to visit again when in the area..thank you Michael, Raphael & staff for contributing to this experience:)

We came to the Albion last night, (Saturday) for desert and coffee after a show. The place was bustling, and busy as you would expect. A table was cleared for our party of 6 and after some time, a pleasant waitress came to take our order. We ordered but waited quite some time, before being told they had run out of one of the deserts we had wanted to have with coffee. Then after a further time, coffee came for some.. but two others were forgotten.. Sadly everyone else had finished theirs before we finally had to call a waitress to ask for ours which finally arrived with the deserts. That was ok..it was after all a busy Saturday night. But... that was nothing.. compared to the LIVE music being played just way too LOUDLY! I love to listen to live music, but NOT when it stops ALL other functions and everyone is shouting at the tables around you.. just to have a normal conversation! And when you CAN'T hear your friends talking across the table, and it is consistent.. it became unbearable! The guitarist unfortunately..REALLY was way TOO LOUD.. I wonder if he realised? He played for too long, and we were finding ourselves, hanging for his breaks, so we could actually talk to each other. We did NOT enjoy the experience and LEFT as soon as we could. Others were commenting as they left, as to how nice it was to get outside and away from the noise! The food looked great, the staff were friendly, but I couldn't recommend it for somewhere to come with friends on a Saturday night, if you are looking to RELAX over drinks, coffee or a meal. Perhaps.. a different type of musician, and fewer sets of music would be good.. The sound needed to be turned Down! This particular Musician's playing and singing.. on this occasion.. unfortunately.. certainly took away from the experience.. and robbed us of our enjoyment and took the focus off other nice things we didn't get to experience...

Loyalty card never works, tried to replace it a second time but card printer doesn’t work, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here but due to ineffective loyalty system received very little of the discounts the card is supposed to offer me & no points accumulated on my card. Had lunch & it was very substandard. My guest & I ate very little of our lunch, less than a quarter , I ordered the $15 rump medium & it came dry & well done the chips tasted like cardboard, weren’t hot, even though I think they were put in the fryer a couple of times, the salad was dry & old, I think the oil was dirty too, my guest thought the same about his fish & chip meal. We were very surprised that our meals arrived so quick, literally a few minutes. I know why now. Nothing was cooked fresh to order. I won’t be going back as it was very disappointing & a waste of money

Me again Look I wrote an unflattering review of the food at this venue as was my experience. Management have so far done well to rectify my concerns My guest wasn’t keen to go back as they were from a different state & didn’t want to go back to the same venue. I feel confident & reassured by management I was heard & that it was an unfortunate set of circumstances. Not sure when I’ll get back but I will post my experience when I...
