Forest Lake McDonald's is potentially the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. For starters the phone is unplugged so you can't even contact them when you need to about an incorrect order, super unprofessional unplugging a phone to avoid customers incoming calls. Been there on a few occasions now and no matter what they seem to completely stuff up the order every time. That means any manager and other employees on shift have no drive for working there. How can you miss adding pickles to a cheese burger? When it is a part of the burger. Not only did I ask for these and was acknowledged that I would be getting them this morning but a previous time I have also asked & paid for extra pickles to make sure they would put them on the burger it was still ignored and came without. I also get asked at drive through "what sauce would you like" expecting to get the sauce but I have never received a sauce with my food every time I have eaten from this McDonalds. You pay for nuggets to have the sauce with it? They need to recruit a whole different team of people that actually want to work, all of the staff are rude. I asked for a strawberry shake and they told me they don't do shakes in the morning out of poor laziness but I have received a strawberry shake in the morning from plenty other McDonald's stores. Nothing we ordered tasted how it does at any other McDonald's, nuggets & chips were dry since they obviously are old and have been left there for hours. Not one comment on your facebook or google reviews are good. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Definitely drawn the line and will never be going back to this poor excuse of a McDonalds, this store is tarnishing...

Self serve machines weren't working, all continued to jam up so I looked over to two staff members beckoning for help, they both stood and stared then turned their backs. My account was stuck logged in. I went to the counter asked for help they said oh the app isn't working we can't put in codes at the front cou ter anyway. I said but then I won't get my points? The "supervisor" said you don't get points on any deals. I said that's a complete lie because I only ever buy Maccas using deals and I always get points and free items. She rolled her eyes, argued and was just so rude. A few orders were left sitting on the counter for ages all open while flies crawled inside the bags and onto the chips which by this point would have been stone cold. My meal cameburger was the worst I'd ever had so dry tasted like it was a day old. Chips cold and stale. The place was a mess and unclean. Shocking ill never go back. Got in there just before all the school kids ordered, on my way driving between lunchtime jobs (so don't have a huge amount of time). Waited 20 minutes (confirmed by time on receipt) for a double cheeseburger meal. And that was after I stood at the counter for probably 5 minutes waiting to ask a question about ordering on the app, and was completely ignored. Absolutely ridiculous. There must have been 25+ drive thru orders processed in the time I was standing there. Horrific practice to see not only the school kids being ignored waiting to order at the counter, but elderly people waiting as well!!! I felt so bad watching them stand there waiting. It is a reoccurring issue I've noticed at McDonalds the past couple years. 99% of the focus is on the drive thru customers, everyone else can EABOD.
