McDonald's® Westfield Chermside — Restaurant in Brisbane City

As someone who has previously been a manager at McDonald's I was so severely disappointed about every aspect of the visit today.

Firstly the young girl who served me was so quiet (not just because she was wearing a mask) I could barely understand what she was saying.

Next I stood back with the maybe 3 other customers waiting for orders for almost 10 minutes, so not a busy period of the day by any stretch of the imagination. Whilst waiting I observed what had to be the slowest and unmotivated FOH team I have ever seen. Walking around without any sense of urgency or care at all and the manager wasn't doing anything to get the team working with more efficiency at all.

When our order number was called out the girl handed us our food without any other acknowledgement even when I said thank you and goodbye.

Finally going to sit down and eat and what do we find? One of the muffins had a long black hair in it (my son has short red/blonde hair and I have basically no hair at all), the cheese was melted all over the burger clams and the food in general was cold.

Now I didn't bother going back to show the hair in our food because what's the point when it took 10 minutes to get food that was extremely subpar even by Maccas standards.

Definitely disappointed and seriously embarrassed to have once called myself a manager of a business that's supposed to take pride in the...

Terrible bunch of young and irresponsible, slow crew workers. Dine in today 28/07/2024 Sunday between 2-4 pm. As a customer we observed the way they make our orders, all crews seems like they don’t concentrate what their doing, very slow, talking and giggling while lots of customers waiting for orders. My receipt number was 120. We ordered 2 Quarter Pounder Meal with small coffee and 4 apple pie. I noticed they make the coffee earlier while waiting the rest of my orders. I saw lots of orders after me been called orders ready receipt numbers until 130’s been called but I was still waiting for my orders. Haven’t heard anything until I asked one of the crew, Our burgers and coffee was sitting there for a while while waiting for apple pie, by the time the apple pie was ready I think that was the Mangers in charged tying to served that coffee they made while ago sitting in the corner getting cold. I completely not. Happy to take my orders because burgers was cold, chips was saggy and they tried to severed me that cold coffee.luckily I noticed that coffee been sitting there for a while I complained. And that manager looked unhappy making a fresh coffee for me. Very much disappointed and unhappy the way they serve...

Macca’s Chermside — where Samara’s front counter service is the real McCoy! 🍔✨

I walked in hungry and ready to meat my expectations, and Samara did not disappoint. She’s the bun-derful front counter queen, greeting everyone with a smile fresher than the fries. Took my order with patty-ence and made sure everything was well-done — no soggy buns here!

Samara’s got that special sauce of friendliness and speed that keeps the whole place running like a well-oiled burger machine. Honestly, if fast food service was a burger, she’d be the double cheese — essential and totally unforgettable.

Big shoutout to Samara for making Macca’s Chermside my go-to spot. If you haven’t experienced her front counter magic, you’re missing the meat-ing of your life!

Every time I roll through, it’s bun-believable service. Staff are fast, friendly, and never half-baked. My fries are always crispy (no soggy crimes here), and the nuggets? Golden perfection.

They're always the best at everything. Talk about going the egg-stra mile.
