Milton Common — Restaurant in Brisbane City

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Milton Common on the 7th November.

Since enquiring back in April 2024, Kaysha (and previously Keira) the Venue Manager was extremely professional, patient with our questions and accommodating to our requests (guests with severe allergies).

We hired out The Mezzanine for our reception. The function room itself was beautiful and set out very well for the event. The staff were amazing, friendly and even involved themselves at certain parts of the reception (without being in the way of course), which kept the whole vibe of the night quite high.

The food was amazing - multiple Charcuterie Boards (with allergens in mind), along with meals for everyone. Made quite fast and very tasty. Not one person was disappointed or had anything negative to say. I highly recommend the Karaage Chicken and Crispy Fried Gyoza Share Plates!

Drinks were plentiful, delicious and very well and hastily made.

My wife and I (and all of our guests) cannot recommend Milton Common more highly! We will definitely...

Food took about 20 minutes to come out, and whilst not necessarily something I'd rave about, it was good enough for our pit stop of a casual lunch especially with 35% off thanks to Eat Club, and the company of another family.

Our family had: Jumbo spring roll salad, $18 - jumbo spring roll with peanut butter red curry dressing & salad Chicken karaage, $14 - crunchy karaage bites with kewpie mayo and pickled ginger; add fries $2.50 Kids battered fish and chips, $9 - served with tomato sauce

The place has 2 levels of seating plus another function/event room out the back. We sat upstairs as downstairs was already fairly full, and enjoyed that space to ourselves. I liked the ambience, and those who appreciate beer would probably like it even more with the micro brewery equipment contributing...

Just ..wow! First time here for their annual BBQ event on the weekend and I am absolutely blown away! The food, music, decor is one thing but the staff?! Never have I been to a venue before, ticketed event or otherwise, where the staff are so friendly and humble and fun, yet so unbelievably organised and attentive eapecially the girls - yeehaww! I've been doing events for over 15 years and not once have I seen such a team work their tits off, whilst clearly having a great time, and no slips ups - it'sunheard of! Kaysha, Izzy, Summer, Eloise - you are the dream team, and what this industry has been lacking for years! You girls were the main act and I can't wait to be back, once I get all of the hay...
