I recently had the opportunity to visit "My Street Food," a Vietnamese cuisine establishment located in Woolloongabba. I was instantly impressed by the blend of flavors and textures offered at this charming place.

The first thing that caught my attention was the perfect combination of crispiness in the meats and the tenderness of the sides. the meat being expertly prepared, maintaining its juiciness and crispy texture. The dishes were carefully balanced.

One of the distinctive features of Vietnamese cuisine is the use of lightly spicy sauces, and "My Street Food" did not disappoint in this aspect. The sauces served with the dishes were delicious and added a special touch to the food. They were mildly spicy, providing a pleasant sensation of warmth without being overwhelming.

Upon entering the establishment, I noticed that it was always bustling, with many orders being fulfilled constantly. This was a clear sign of the place's popularity and the quality of the food offered. Despite being small and simple, is cozy place.

The service at "My Street Food" was efficient and friendly. The staff was always ready to answer questions and provide recommendations about the dishes. I was impressed by how quickly the orders were prepared and served, even with the constant demand.

In summary, "My Street Food" is a true Vietnamese gem in Woolloongabba. The tasty food and the blend of flavors and textures are a true feast for the palate. The place may be small and simple, but the authentic taste and lively atmosphere make the visit a memorable experience. If you are in search of authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine, "My Street Food" is definitely...

A Hidden Vietnamese Gem with Incredible Food and Even Better People!

I stumbled upon this little Vietnamese cafe and was absolutely blown away — not just by the food, but by the warmth and charm of the people who run it.

First off, the Banh Mi with crackling pork is next level. The pork is perfectly crispy, flavorful, and juicy — nestled in a crunchy baguette with fresh herbs, pickled veggies, and just the right amount of heat. It's the kind of sandwich that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is.

The fried rice is another standout — packed with flavor, beautifully textured, and clearly made with care. You can tell every grain has been kissed by the wok. It’s comforting, filling, and totally addictive.

And don’t leave without trying the Vietnamese coffee. Rich, bold, and smooth — it’s like a sweet, caffeinated hug. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just need a mid-day pick-me-up, this one hits all the right notes.

But beyond the food, what really makes this place special is the people. Ana, who served us, is absolutely lovely — warm, welcoming, and so genuine in her care for every customer. She makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. And her boss? Equally wonderful — kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for everyone who walks through the door.

If you're craving authentic Vietnamese flavors served with heart and hospitality, this place is a must-visit. It’s the kind of spot you’ll keep coming back to — for the food, and...

We had to return to My Street Food the next day after trying it for the first time the day before. My wife and I love Vietnamese food, and all the reviews raved about them serving the best banh mi in Brisbane amongst other remarkable items on the menu. My wife and I have tried a number of extraordinary banh mis: the popular Hong Ha Bakery in Sydney, the underrated VN Bakery in Southport, the Sunday market banh mi stall in Redcliffe, and the drive-worthy Cubby Bakehouse in Chinderah. THE BANH MI IN MY STREET FOOD IS PERFECT. It has all the qualities a banh mi lover has on the checklist: crisp bread roll, the perfect layer of their extraordinary homemade mayonaise, enough veggies for that freshness and crunch but allows for the main ingredient to shine - the meat. Oh, the crispy skin of the pork crackling and melt-in-your mouth tenderness of the pork belly. The flame grilled lemongrass pork which can only be described as a firework of flavours for my taste buds. And just when we finally found the ultimate banh mi, Anna recommended to try their signature crispy fried rice which I can only describe as sensational. The absolute game changer is the exceptional customer service, everyone in the staff were friendly, service always with a smile, not to mention that the place is spotless tidy and clean, and abiding by government COVID regulations. My wife and I have always wanted to visit Vietnam, now we have a "Taste of Vietnam" in My Street Food just 4 minutes...

There was a long queue when I arrived close to noon which I understand it’s a common occurrence for them. I could feel like the team was pretty overwhelmed with orders. When it was close to our turn they took out the sold out sign for the banh mi. However a couple of minutes later they announced they could do probably another 10 rolls which I was glad to hear. I ordered the traditional pork roll and crispy pork roll. I’m probably one of the few that did not enjoy my roll. The maggi seasoning was too strong and some parts of the roll were exceptionally dry. Nothing stood out for me. Will not return as there are better options at Darra.

Best value Banh Mi in Inner City Brisbane!! For along time, I have had to drive out to Inala or Darra to get fresh banh mi at a reasonable price. That is no longer the case now that I've discovered My Street Food. Not only is the banh mi fresh and tasty. It is very affordable at $8 a pop. Their banh mi may also be inflation proof because I haven't observed them raising their prices by much in the last year! Great value, great taste. The crispy pork belly and grilled lemongrass pork banh mi are two of my favourites. This is a local business that is worth supporting!!
