Market Organics Woolloongabba — Local services in Brisbane City

The store itself is awesome, but the cafe sucks. Though nice, the cafe staff are incapable, don't even know what organic means (you work at market organics?), they can't tell me the ingredients of something, despite it being attached to health conscious store. I think I have the right to know what goes inside the food I'd like to purchase, if I am shopping at market organics then it's because I care about what I put in my body. The cafe needs to give the public organic food/drink options if you are part of an organic health store!!! Especially as you can literally pick it off the shelf a few metres away... just use the organic milk you sell in the store?? I should not feel like an idiot for asking basic questions. So please have an ingredient list handy. And when employing staff at an organic place ask them the definition of organic. Hope this is constructive and you can make the necessary changes for future customers. Again store is fantastic, and I will shop again, this is just the cafe part, needs...

Great coffee and supermarket, not so great food.

We shop here frequently and decided to finally have brekkie here today. It cost $60 for two meals and two coffees so we expected it to be reasonable. Coffee was fabulous.

I had some honey hotcakes and my husband had a stack with eggs. We waited for over 20mins and when we ordered there were no other customers. They did have some hot takeaway orders after we ordered and they all left with their food before we got ours.

When ours arrived, both meals were burnt. The hotcakes were chewy, cold and tasteless. The stack was so over cooked it was just something crunchy. The eggs were undercooked but the best part of that meal were the sun dried tomatoes.

It was really disappointing due to the cost and we let the staff know but they just said they’d pass along the message. Neither one of us finished our meal.

Would we eat there again? No Would we get coffee...

You will find all things organic and biodynamic here from bulk food items, groceries, frozen foods, dairy and non dairy alternatives, breads, a fridge with a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, wine (extra bonus points 😁), chocolates, organic lamb and beef (look out for the dedicated fridge), a selection of pet foods and products for your fur babies, non toxic cleaning and body products, supplements and delicious cafe!
