Very bad experience on Black Friday Night and worst manager at the store, unprofessional and rude. I went there with family including 2 children. Ordered at the counter, clearly mentioned full chicken Well down cut in 8 pieces and hot base chips and Paella and Salad. We sat on table 7 and then realised that aircon is over our head and kids were cold so we went to counter and changed the table to 20 and the person changed our table to 20. We received our food on table 20 after 20 minutes, paella and Salad only which was ok, average food quality. Waited another 10-15 minutes for chicken and chips and then went to counter to ask for this order. The store manager started yelling at me that why You changed your table to 20 and her behaviour was extremely aggressive and rude and I never experience something like this in any cafe and restaurant. She said we have not informed them about table 20 at all and we are not supposed to change table. I just walked away to table as my daughter did not eat anything and was waiting on food. She came to table apologies and said the chicken will be served soon. Just after 5 minutes, she has given chicken (cut in 4 pieces and uncooked) on table and chips. My daughter straight away took the chicken piece and start eating. My wife saw the other piece was uncooked and stopped her for eating. The chips were also half cooked. She went to counter again to complain about the chicken and the manager said nobody mentioned to cut into 8 pieces and start showing her docket. It was mentioned 2 times at order and the person who took the order repeated our order With 8 pieces as well. She said she can cook this well done as this is on docket and bring to table in 10 minutes. We decided to leave this place as we had enough with disrespectful and rude behaviour and bad food. Never recommend this...
Read moreHi Me and my husband went for dinner this afternoon with our family who is visiting us from overseas, and when we arrived there was about 2 tables with costumers, all the other tables were full of dirty dishes and food already smelling bad, it was a total mess. We ordered 2 whole chicken and 3 sides, we selected sweet potato chips and 2 corn, when was about 30 min passed from the order, I went to the counter to have some update, because there wasn’t much tables and were waiting for so long. The guy who had spoken to me was a blond guy, dancing behind the bench, there was nothing being prepared… and when I asked he said there was no preps done because they couldn’t caught up from the morning shift. And then he said he couldn’t make corn for my order, and after that he said he could but it would take more 15 min I said it was fine if he could send whatever was ready because we were in 6 people all starving and stressed with the dirty mess. After 45 min nothing was ready, I went to the counter again. There was no plates on the bench, I had to ask for plates, they went back to the kitchen to wash some for me, when parts of my order was ready nobody was there to bring it to my table. I had to do their job. I had to pick everything and bring to my table. They served us raw chicken. I had to bring it back to them and ask to cook longer, the corn was looking like it was just microwaved. When I complained the same dancing guy said he couldn’t do anything and I had to fill up the complaint on the website. After all of that we got shit chicken , just the shit ribs without meat, we had to look for the meat, so much fat and not meat at all, we spent 70 dollars and had to drive through maccas because we were all starving. That was the most horrible experience we had so far. I hope you guys can do something about...
Read more★☆☆☆☆ A Birthday Meal So Bad It Aged Me
I went to Nando’s for what should’ve been a celebration — a free birthday meal, as advertised. I’d read the terms and conditions thoroughly. Nowhere did it mention a mandatory $10 spend. But when I got there? Surprise! Apparently there’s some shadow policy hidden deep in the Nando’s Matrix that overrides what actual customers are shown on the app.
Reluctantly, I scraped together $10 worth of food I didn’t even want — just to unlock the “free” meal. Spoiler: it wasn’t worth a cent. The chicken was chewy, dried-out, and tasted like it had been resurrected from last week’s bin. The chips? Inedible. Stale, sour, and coated in what I can only assume was oil last used during the Howard administration. I stopped at chip number four. That’s not a figure of speech — four chips. I counted.
Now I’ve been a regular. I’ve eaten at Nando’s Clayfield at least once a month and love it there. But if this had been my first visit to a Nando’s franchise at the Chermside location, it would’ve been my last — and honestly, it is my last. I stand on this business.
The server was passable, but when shown that the app explicitly omitted this mysterious surcharge, they still refused to honor it. Let me be very clear: if your app promises a free birthday meal with no visible conditions, then legally, that’s what you owe the customer — not some backend clause nobody can read.
Nando’s, if you’re going to gaslight people with ghost terms and serve meals that taste like revenge, maybe don’t wrap it up as a birthday gift. You’ve officially seasoned my...
