I had been coming to this restaurant for 5 years in which I've ordered the exact same thing, a mild butter chicken with garlic naan and rice. On this particular night, I ordered the same thing as usual expecting it to be as good as it has been for the last 5 years. When I tasted it it was extremely spicy and I had to drive back to the store to get a replacement, thinking that they had just got my order mixed up. When I picked up my replacement butter chicken, I drove home once again and the exact same problem occured. I repeated this process THREE TIMES because I was frustrated and hungry and I physically cannot eat anything spicy. On the third time, what seemed to be the manager came out and spoke to me about how much of a nuisance it is for them that they had to remake my order three times and was said in a very rude manner. What a bigger nuisance is the fact that I had to drive to and from the store three times out of frustration with the food. When I received my food for the third time, assuming that they surely wouldn't have fkd up THREE times, I got home, started eating and threw it straight in the bin. Obviously the recipe has changed and they didn't bother to tell me at all or if that isn't the case, then their kitchen staff definitely cannot read and understand a basic order. Read moreThis is by far the best tasting Indian food in Brisbane & not only that but also the service is excellent!
I've tried at least 15 different Indian Restaurants around the Brisbane & North Brisbane areas and none of them even come close to quality, taste, freshness and all round deliciousness of Nataraja's culinary output. You can really tell they put a lot of care into selecting their ingredients for each meal as the sauces and spices are amazingly cooked and blended together & the meat is always cooked to perfection and seemingly always from the best cuts of the animal.
With it being a B.Y.O. restaurant means you can bring drinks from home (or from the Liquorland, which is handily located in the same building complex) and it saves you having to pay the usual exorbitant drinks price premiums that other restaurants unashamedly force you to pay. On top of all that the wait staff are all very welcoming & friendly whilst also being very efficient, which is another part of the reason I find myself going back to the restaurant almost once a week.
Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys Indian Cuisine - 10 out of...

Had our Christmas work dinner at Nataraja Indian Restaurant, and it was honestly fantastic!
The food was amazing. I went for the Vindaloo, and wow – it was packed with flavour and absolutely delicious. But fair warning: it’s pretty spicy! If you’re into a bit of heat, you’re going to love it.
The entrée selection was spot on too, with heaps of gluten-free options, which was perfect for some of our team. The staff were awesome and made sure everyone was looked after – no stress, just good food and good vibes.
What really stood out for me was how easy everything felt. We could just enjoy ourselves without worrying about whether there’d be enough food or if the service would let us down. Everything was on point, and it made for such a great night with the crew.
If you’re after tasty Indian food and a chilled, welcoming vibe, definitely check out Nataraja Indian Restaurant. I’ll be back for sure – maybe to tackle that Vindaloo again (if I’m...
