Visited on a weekend with the family—husband, daughter, and me. The Village is practical but not exciting.
Pros: ample parking (free, which is rare these days), clean facilities, and a decent Coles/Woolies for groceries.
The play area is small but kept our toddler entertained for a bit.
Downsides? The fashion stores are pretty basic, and the food court is lacking. We ended up eating at a café nearby instead.
Also, some parts felt a bit run-down—peeling paint, flickering lights. Staff were friendly, though, and it wasn’t overly crowded, which was nice.
If you need a no-frills place to grab essentials or kill an hour with kids, it’s alright. But don’t expect a premium...
Read moreThe milk aisle in the Woolies perpetually smells like raw sewage, but the Butcher outside is so good that if he were any more passionate about his meat he'd be seen at the beat. Top notch stuff boys.

The milk aisle no longer smells like raw sewage, and the entire woolies is now pretty flash. I still prefer to buy fresh produce from the markets outside, when they're on, but can't fault the revamp of Woolies in Kelvin Grove. Nicely done, if not a bit flash for a Woolies, and most importantly doesn't smell.

Read moreIt offers a good range of food choices for quick bites. I visit this complex for the Miu tea, the Golden Lava toast, the Boba chicken and Asian shop. It has a lot of underground car park with 2 hours free parking. The only downside for me is the gate. I experienced the broken gate a few times and everyone had to contact the emergency person individually to get out. The wait was not nice, especially you do not have phone signal...
