McCaskie Park — Attraction in Brisbane City

It’s the kind of park that doesn’t overwhelm you, just gives you a space to relax and let the kids burn energy. The swings, slides, and climbing frame are enough for a short visit. I liked the open field area, perfect for ball games or just running around. Shady trees are a big help on warmer days. Very suitable for ages over 3 ... they can play tirelessly for hours. And good activities for adults too. Especially the ping pong table (or table tennis), the basketball court and the flat grass field which is suitable for Soccer (or football) or even frisbee. Plenty of open space, which is great for kids to run free or throw a ball around. Some of the play equipment is aging, but nothing unsafe. Paths are easy for strollers, and there’s enough shade for a hot day. A few more picnic tables would help, and it can get busy on weekends.
