The markets are great for produce and are pretty cheap in comparison to what you pay at the supermarket. Sometimes half the price. Great stalls here are Mr Fruity's that give you a very good price on your produce, basically the reason for always shopping at the Kelvin Grove markets. But other stalls have great prices on produce as well and also different kinds of produce like spices, herbs, fruits and vegetables. Not so great for food, but you some of the stalls offer a nice bite like Bagels, vietnamese and turkish. Or sometimes you might catch the italian store there that sells take home delicious gnocchi, pizza and plenty of other delicious...

This is a great market with a good mix of stalls . The best thing for us is that there are very fresh fruit and vegetables available at a number of stalls. We recommend shopping with.Sena farm fresh fruit and veg because she is honest and gives good prices on excellent produce. Please be aware that some of the fruit and vegetable stall holders have crooked scales and cheat their customers. On Saturday, 11 January 2025 we purchased $21 worth of veggies from a store outside Domino’s on Blamey Street we noted the prices and so when we got home, we calculated that it was actually worth about $15.
