Brisbane Arts Theatre — Attraction in Brisbane City

I love this little theatre but we were let down bitterly last Saturday. I purchased tickets online to bring my little granddaughter to see Charlotts web. We caught an Uber into the city($24) to find that the production had been cancelled without notice to myself and about another 5 patrons who booked the week before the production. I then had to pay a further $24 on Uber home with a very dissappointed 4 year old. I would have thought there may have been an apology in the email from the theatre but it just said they were pleased to let me know that my refund request had been processed. Just...

A small theatre, that is definitely in need of a big refit. The facilities are outdated and worn. Still, it has everything you expect, snacks, drinks and toilet facilities.

Furthermore, the theatre is populated by an enthusiastic group who put on an entertaining show, especially good when you consider the conditions within which they are working.

It would be great to see what this place could be with an injection of some investment and I'm sure the players would make great use of a modernisation.

Lovely theatre and a wonderful performance! We loved that the cast were able to use the whole space of the theatre; aisle, spare seats, using the audience as props/part of the story. The performance was of high quality, from the cast to the props, and it was absolutely wonderful for the children to meet the cast afterwards and get their "autographs". There's a great seating area outside, next to the shop which serves snacks and drinks. We are keeping our eyes peeled for the next performance...
