Forgot to take photos, but let me say this: Everything was incredible!! I went there last Thursday night and the place was busy. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted and welcomed by Jose. He then directed me to the lovely Abbey. She greeted me and my friend and took us to our table, her spiel was excellent. She presented the menu in the best way, without sounding rehearsed. By the time she finished we didn’t even need to look at the menu for much longer, we had decided we were going for the Banquet. The vibe of the place was great, and for a Thursday evening, the place was giving weekend vibes. Our server Isabella also gave us an experience that made me smile and makes me want to come back. She was able to bring her personality to us every time she would come to check in, and never felt inauthentic or pushy. She really anticipated our needs, and always made sure she was swapping our napkins, clearing dishes or offering new drinks before we even had to ask for new ones. All the staff looked like they really enjoyed working there, and it makes service so much more enjoyable. Even though they were busy, no one seemed overwhelmed and the team was working really well together. We went for the banquet, and the food was delicious and incredible. So much food, so much goodness. The pork belly had amazing flavours, the edamame was unreal (I need that all day, every day!) and the beef massaman curry was so tasty. Portions were great, we definitely felt like we went into a food coma but not in a stuffy way. I had a mocktail that tasted and looked amazing I forgot the name of it but I loved it. Oftentimes when you get a mocktail the presentation is not being considered in the price, but I thought the drink was well worth the price. Overall, the banquet was also pretty well priced, and the experience I had on Thursday will definitely make me want to come back again, and tell all my friends about it!
Thank you to the team that made a mundane Thursday night dinner feel special and thank you for looking after us. Keep up the...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in a spot in Stafford, parking in the immediate area of the place is limited but its not like you cant find a car park spot. Booking online requires a $20 deposit. We booked in on a Saturday night and boy was it packed! We had a bit of a wait (past our booked time) on our table but while we waited we sat outside and had a drink. It was very busy (the restaurant was fully booked) so we were worried about the wait time on our food but while we were waiting for our table, we were able to order our food. The noise level inside was quite high but to be expected since it was busy but not enough to annoy us. Once were seated our food came out and when i tell you they didnt miss a beat bringing out the food i mean there wasnt a moment inbetween dishes we found ourselves waiting for the next plate. We got the banquet menu and ordered to extra entrees and we were struggling to get through food in the end. My only issue was one of the extra dishes we got (the soft cheese with roti) the cheese was tastless and very cold (i think of the cheese was left at room temperature and the sauce it was sitting in had a bit more taste or chilli in it i would have loved the dish) but the rest of the food i couldnt fault and would highly recommend! The pork belly melted in your mouth, the curry was creamy and a good amount of spice and the meat was decent sized as well! The popcorn cauliflower and edadame were perfect and the stir frys (the sauce) was amazing. We also ordered the numb numb drink and would highly recommend it! The staff were amazing, polite, accommodating and never forgot us even when we were waiting for our table! We were just disappointed at ourselves after for not tipping such great staff. I will...
Read more😐 Had booked via EatClub app and was told on arrival that we were supposed to contact the venue directly to book as well, which was surprising as the app doesn't state this at all! 🙀 ✅ The restaurant was 4/5 filled up on a Wednesday night, but the staff were able to find room for the 3 of us. ✅ All the staff 😻 were friendly & very accommodating in finding us preferred seating area that was away from crowdedness, loud noise and bright lights, which is a great relief for a neurodivergent with hyper-sensory overwhelm 😌 ✅ Our main waitress, Ella🏆👏🏽, was especially attentive with ensuring our requests were met in timely manner, and handled our silly banter very well 😜 😐 🍹⚖ Our non-alcoholic cocktails were both enjoyed & disliked (e.g. the pineapple was too overpowering to taste the mango nectar in the Abundant Chalice, but it was finished by someone else in our group!). ✅ ⏳ The food took approximately 15mins between ordering @ approximately 7:30pm to the first 3 dishes being served. All 7 dishes were served within 10mins of each other. ✅ All the food were deliciously tasty (especially the crispy pork Myo Bao Buns, duck red curry, satay roast pumpkin curry), expected mixture of varied textures (except that the duck wasn't 'crispy'...maybe lost in the liquid curry, and it would've been nicer if the whisky tamarind pork belly was crispier). 😐 The takeaway containers appear to be mostly recyclable material (i.e. base/container) but the lids were plastic 😿 ✅ Even the staff were wonderfully patient in trying to assist with EatClub electronic payment when technical challenges were encountered, and the lady took the time to explain how the discount payment process is charged 🤗 ✅ Overall, very much worth returning to this...
