Poor services not knowing how to keep services consistent. I had my dinner and breakfast here.
Last night, when I was still dining, the lady on the shift left the bill; after a couple of minutes, she walked by and suddenly grabbed the bill from my table and checked if I put my money inside.
Wasn't it odd and rude?
I didn't even ask my bill or request to pay. I guess she was eager to go home and let the guests know it was time for you to go. Is that right?
She asked the guests near me how the taste of the food was, but did not even bother to care how I felt. Still, I left my tips. I wasn't going to leave my negative comments until the next day.......
While I am still enjoying breakfast and away for my second round of the food; the moment I turn my back, I find a staff member cleaning my table and my full containing water bottle gone.
I really feel offended.
How could the staff be so neglective without knowing if the customers are still eating or leaving?
Not to mention, a few minutes ago, a waitress brought me a cup of coffee and asked me if I ordered;I replied I wasn't even being told I could order one, and this is trying to tell her may I order? Later, the coffee I ordered was never served, and my table was cleaned.
I feel frustrated and disturbed. Was it so difficult to leave me alone and enjoy my food peacefully?
😮💨
BTW I will continue to say more about the room of Sofitel Hotel I stay in. The guest toilets were not flushed well the day I checked in. At night, one of the pillows I could still smell odors left from the previous guests. It was not over yet; the bedsheets caused me itchy.
I am really glad I left. I go stay in an accommodation 1/3 of the rate and is even bigger..
One thing, though, I am satisfied. The staff gave me early check-in. I was happy at first. This is nothing regarding this restaurant, but due to the poor service of Prive in the Sofitel Hotel , I decided to spill it out all at once.
If the company is trying to cost down by hiring inexperienced non local personnel, please do...

Read moreA surprisingly unknown gem for steak lovers. On a Friday afternoon I could get a 7pm booking with no fuss whatsoever.
I've eaten at Kingley's, Moo Moo's and Cha Cha Char. Although I love all three of those places I have to say that I believe the Wagu Eye Fillet at Prive leaves them all in the dust.
The wine and champagne (and sparkling) selection is excellent, (all of) the food is spectacular, the restaurant offers great views out towards post office sqare, and the service is very good also.
If you are one of those people who prefers to eat out well but less frequently I would strongly recommend you try Prive.
Only final tip, unless you are staying at the hotel you should park your car in one of the nearby car parks, as the valet...
