Met a gf here for lunch. It was a bonus I got a park on the same street as the restaurant. Be mindful because it is a 2 hour limit. This was sufficient for our purposes. We didn't have a booking. This is a stand alone resturant which could potentally be mistaken for a corner store from the street. The A frame offering fish and chips and what looked like a takeaway hot bar (not in use at the time) might have confused me if I hadn't read prior reviews. I came to try the vietnamese food but love how they have that option as well - why not. We were greeted shortly after looking at the menu and got to choose from the available tables inside. There were other diners but otherwise, it was relatively quiet compared to the available tables they had. We were offered cold water and given sufficient time to look at the menu. The attentive waiter came back at an appropriate time to take our order. I ordered the beef vermicelli noodles with fish sauce. I asked for fresh chilli & was given a decent amount - happy days, no extra charge. The meals didn't take long to arrive and were freshly prepared. Mine came with giant mint leaves. The beef was well seasoned, which I appreciated. I was also asked if I wanted chop sticks, which was nice of them not to assume I didn't know how to use them. I took up the offer and the lady brought some without delay. Come and support this family run business which offers good food and great service. After lunch we let our food settle by taking a scenic walk by the river...

The owner of this restaurant is one of the most attentive gentlemen I have ever met. It was a shocking night pouring rain so his restaurant was a little quiet.

Don't let the marquee & plain tables put you off. This little gem that my friends found is worth your attention.

Quirky with a fish 'n' chip menu, together with Asian cuisine. My friends had the Satay chicken and Quang Noodles while I had Barramundi & Chips. Their meals were enormous, bring a couple of containers with you as the food is delish!

I now have to go back at least 3 more times as I wish to try the stay and Quang Noodle PLUS they have Morten Bay Bug @ $32. Never had it before so I am sure this chef will do it justice!

Did I mention the desserts? The fried banana is not overly sweet with a very interesting "coating". My friends were impressed that the fried icecream was coated with coconut rather than...

Went to lunch with my sister, she wanted seafood so this was her chosen place. I ordered the spring rolls they where fine what you would expect. The oyster kilpatrick they where not fine the worst I have ever had the black sauce was disgusting, someone needs to go and check how to do this properly disgraceful. For my main meal i ordered a burger how wrong can you get it? Well I should of looked because cheese, egg, bacon was extra, but would I did not expect was the burger arrived in a bun with burger patty and some purple cabbage? Where was the onions tomato lettuce? Crap 4 out of 10. My sisters ordered the moreton bay bugs when it arrived i looked at the plate of food because what I imagined was nothing like what arrived, 3 half bits of small bugs not acceptable for the price quality of the food was lacking. 4 out 10.

Will not be going back very...

We went here for breakfast and it was good, taking into consideration that it is mainly a seafood place. We even recommended it to guests at our motel looking for a place to have breakfast. It is a clean and tidy place but the service was a tad slow however there was only 1 person for the entire restuarant. He was very friendly and professional. The food was well cooked, well presented and the portions were very decent. I did like the breakfast burger, it tasted great. The coffee was good and strong too.
