Yellowish, a marvellous Cafe hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Portside, situated next door to Samie's Seafood. A truly great place for breakfast or a quiet lunch. An extensive breakfast menu consisting of the the usuals such as the big breakfast for the very hungry, a magnificent eggs benedict with bacon or pulled pork if that takes your fancy and many other extraordinary and very interesting breakfast choices. Great coffee and an extensive choice of drinks hot and cold. Similarly the lunch menu has many choices such as Cajun Salmon, absolutely delicious and matched perfectly with fresh clean Summer flavours. Pork Belly again very very nice and many others including Pasta's etc., check it out yourself and all dishes very well priced. The chef and owner is very passionate about the food he prepares and matches flavours and produce so very well. Your always greeted with a smile from the lovely Jess or owner Phoebe who are only too happy to assist in any food choices you may wish to make. Presently only open for breakfast and lunch, it's well worth the effort if you're in the area or traveling to Hamilton's Portside, to drop in and check it out, you will not be disappointed. My rating of 4 stars out of 5 doesn't do this establishment justice, but I don't give five stars. Four and a half stars would probably be right, anyhow make your own decisions, you won't regret it....

In town for a quick week and found this little cafe nearby our hotel. Since then we’ve been coming back everyday because it’s been that great!!

The staff are so friendly, warm, and bubbly. We love being greeted by Phoebe because she remembers her customers! The best way to start our day. They also seem genuinely happy to help you and don’t mind making custom meals easier for takeaway.

The coffee is also great - not too hot or bitter and you can customize with whatever milks you want. They’re quick and quality is top notch.

Finally, food prices are exceptional considering it’s Australia and everything seems crazy right now but they’ve managed to keep it reasonable. Our egg sando was only $6 each!

If you’re looking for a great place to relax for breakfast / brunch, or even work from home, definitely try this place. There are plenty of tables inside and out to...

Visited @yellowishcafe with a group of foodie friends a few weeks back. The customer parking can be fairly limited on weekdays but there is street parking available! 🙌

The cafe has a very nice design with yellow accents. They have two separate menus for breakfast and lunch, and since we got there in the morning we got the breakfast menu (the menus can be found on their website) 🥰

What we got -

• Rendang Benny - $17 • Eggs Benny - $16.80 • Big Breakfast- $20.5 • Potato & Pumpkin Croquettes- $16

I got the big breakfast and it was great! Everyone else enjoyed their dishes too and the portion sizes were quite good 🥰 3/6 of the group ordered the Rendang Benny so the photos of that dish represents half our group 🤣

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at Yellowish cafe. Definitely recommend...

Absolutely fantastic experience at this establishment! The staff deserves high praise for their attentiveness and top-notch table service. A thoughtful touch is the water provided upon arrival, setting a positive tone from the start. The location, nestled next to the Port and park, is ideal, offering not only scenic views but also convenience. The provision of a public restroom is an additional convenience factor. Now, let's talk about the food—creative, colorful, and undeniably delicious. It's evident that the culinary team puts great effort into both presentation and taste. Overall, a highly recommended spot for a delightful dining experience with a fantastic view and exceptional service.

From social media sharing today I explored the new venue for sunday brounch in Hamilton. I had a crispy pork knukle with special made pickle ,green and sauce. The inside meat is tender and outside skin is cripsy. It is perfect match having crispy and tender together along with pickle. It is better than what i had it at german club in melbourne. Not too salty and pickle is very fresh matching just good sour and sweet. I will stop there for brounch again. I also celebrate myself birthday having the pork knukle, which is our tradition to get good luck!
