The food here is actually not bad. The coffee taste great, just a little bit cold. The problem is the restaurant management is very chaos. There is a tall skinny female restaurant manager didn’t really give me a good impression. She seems jump between different tables very quick. I was going to order my food after my friend finished his order. But she suddenly went to another table after I only said 2 words. She also said we can only sit on that table for 30 mins cause we didn’t reserve it. But when we left the shop, there is no much people inside the shop. I totally understand that it was public holiday and can be busier. But I’ve been to many other restaurants in busy time. They seems have better restaurant management which makes me feel more comfortable. The worst experience is that she asked me and my friend that have we paid our bill. I felt it’s a little bit offensive. I’ve been in Brisbane for 3.5 years. That’s the first time that an attendance ask me like that. Did I look like someone who don’t pay the bill? Two stars for the other friendly staffs in the shop. They are helpful.

Hidden little gem. Don't be fooled by the limited seating inside because there is an awesome seating area out the back. Had the big breakfast that was $32 which is a little pricey but it is worth it with thick cut maple smoked bacon large mushrooms, eggs 3 strip's of hallomi cheese, spinach toast and a generous portion of smashed avocado and cherry tomatoes with a hashbrown to top it off. If you like a portion of relish to add to the flavours. A special mention about the coffee. We had 2 cups each. Service is outstanding with staff that go about and beyond to make your vist comfortable and relaxing. A must visit.

Abusolute recommended spot! I wish I could post my reviews more than 100 times - that's how much I love this placešŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ Coffee taste is fantastic - always consistent Weekly lunch never lets people get bored - they are nicely cooked and seasoned I particularly like the Barramundi dish, and for to-go, chicken wrap😊 The staff are friendly, very attentive and engaging, enhancing both dine-in experience and takeaway small talk more meaningful than I can expect. Many people know about the coffee iconic for their symbolic garden, but I am 100% sure Sisco is far better for the garden as well as the food overall!!

Do not go here. Went here for breakfast with our child. While he was sitting almost silently on my lap, I let him play with a packet of sugar when the waitress came rushing over and snatched it out of his hand after instruction from who I can only imagine is the owner. Saying he was going to ā€œruinā€ it? We paid $6 per coffee so even if he did ā€œruinā€ one packet (which he didn’t, he simply had it in his hand), it would have been no more than what we could have used as a customer. Immediately walked out due to the rude staff and how they interacted with us. No clue on customer service. Don’t bother if you are parents with kids.

Edit:

How incredibly childish for you to go on such a tirade about our review, it mirrors the exact way you treated us in store. At no stage, did our child ever touch one of your ā€œpreciousā€ porcelain holders, he had a sugar packet in his hand that was snatched away by your waitress.

We were sat at the two person table as soon as you walk in, not a 6 person table so maybe get your facts right. I recall because my toddler had to be sat on my lap as you do not have high chairs and there was no where else for him to sit. And we actually did not order the coffees only, we asked to sit in for breakfast and had our menus which we only decided against ordering after the way we were treated.

All reviews to a business are ā€œrelevantā€ when they are someone’s experience with your establishment. Your ability to work at full capacity should not be taken out on customers. We both work in retail and completely understand when places are short on staff however the way we were treated was not a reflection of being short staffed but actually just rude people who clearly do not appreciate having children in their establishment. Next time someone leaves feedback on your business, consider not trying to excuse the behaviour with a lengthy response trying to make them look like liars and maybe just apologise for their experience and move on. This would speak much more highly of...

Have been coming here for many years and I find that each time I come here the staff get ruder and ruder. Came here for a meeting with colleagues (my choice !) and did not feel like a coffee as I had made one at home. Was sharing a muffin with someone and a waiter approached me and told me that 'if you sit in our cafe with people, you are not allowed to not order something'. I understand that it is a small business, however, considering I was eating a meal which I was paying for I find it extremely rude and shows a complete lack of hospitality and social skills. My colleagues and I were actually appalled and it made the entirety of the breakfast extremely uncomfortable. The 'victimisation' in the replies to negative reviews on this Google page also displays your lack of willingness to take on feedback and learn from mistakes. I agree with every other review on here that the food and coffee is great but I also agree with the points made about the rudeness of the staff. Considering I am a 'regular' but still continue to experience rude behaviour, I do not think it's okay. People try to stay loyal to your cafe (and similar) but it is hard to do so if the arrogant and impertinent behaviour continues. Take this review on the chin and use it to improve your customer service to ensure people like me continue to come back to your beautiful cafe without the passive-aggressive and uncomfortable vibe. No one should feel like they are walking on egg shells when they are dining in at your...

I stayed up the road for a conference and needed a local Cafe that wasn't $28 for breakfast like the hotel was advertising.

Sisco was nice and close but there were a few items I'll bring up. The menu is pretty limited (see uploaded photo) unless you build your own. There's only three ish hot dishes for brekky. Extras are all pretty expensive ($5.50 for bacon, $5 for avocado) and it's fair to say you pay for quality produce, however if you are after a $16 big brekky this isn't the place.

I had the scrambled egg and Tom relish on toast with added avocado, along with an flat white. A basic coffee and effectively eggs on toast with some avoc set me back about $22 bucks.

I've paid more, and had lower quality food and coffee in the past, but it all comes down to what you're after. Is probably take the wife here for a 'nice' breakfast, but if your after a cost effective feed then look else where, after all, for an extra 6 bucks I could have had the hotel buffet, all you can eat hot, cold, coffee etc. Oh and they aren't open on a Sunday, perhaps Sundays aren't busy but I thought a cafe in the city would be open on weekends. I rate...
