Table 26 Carindale — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Table 26 has always been our go-to cafe in Westfield Carindale, however, our last few visits have been really disappointing that we’re not sure we’ll be back.

On our most recent occasion, we ordered a cappuccino, iced latte and almond croissant. The almond croissant, although not fresh, was still quite tasty as usual. The coffees however were super sour and bitter. Our first few visits in the past year, the coffees were always really smooth tasting. I understand that our recent visit was during a busy time, and with only one barista on the machine there was quite a rush to get the coffees out. However, it seems like the quality was compromised and the taste was just really terrible. I unfortunately couldn’t finish my small cup, which being my first coffee of the day is really rare.

Staff are usually pretty pleasant and efficient, I can definitely feel the pressure to make sure orders are put out on time though. The cafes in a great spot with beautiful natural lighting peeking through the roof of the centre! Unfortunately, it might have been our last visit but hope others have positive...

Fantastic cafe at Westfield Carindale I would highly recommend. My wife loves going there.

Management a bit of feedback - we went there for lunch recently. My son and I went ahead of my wife and sat at Table 26. Shortly after setting up on the table the young waitress advised us the table was reserved and we had to move. There was no reserved sign on the table , the young waitress put the reserved sign after we got off. I wasn’t really sure why we were asked to move and then when my wife came she told me about the Table 26 story and why it is reserved.

In the future can you please ensure that the reserved sign is on the table. My 2 and half year old son didn’t really appreciate being moved after he was settled on Table 26. Funnily a gentleman came not long after me and also sat on Table 26 and was also asked to move.

I’m giving this feedback because there will be some customers that won’t come back because Table 26 needs to be more clearly identified as...

I ve chosen this place because of the kid area. I was with my mum and my baby and both of us ordered eggs on toast with tomatoes (eggs on toast $10 and add tomatoes $ 4). When they arrive we saw there were half tomato on each plate. Half tomato for $ 4! I honestly think that $ 4 for half tomato is out of this world! I then talked with the waitress and explain my point of view. She came back after talking with the supervisor offering some more tomatoes which we then wait for more than 20 min and when they arrived that were 2 half tomatoes. So we actually had 1 tomato for $ 4 !! I think is still crazy!! When I went to pay, and explain again my point of view the supervisor was drying the cutlery and she didn't even turn the face to me to apologize or something.The result was they didn't make me pay for the extra tomatoes (which were supposed to be offered).

I left saying I won't come back and definitely I will never...
