Iām not a sushi chef, but what i do know is that i can make sushi way better than this place because Iām not a cheap skate at use jasmine rice in sushi that costs $4.50. Man i came here from a birthday lunch and my family and I were so infuriated and disappointed for many reasons.
As stated you donāt use jasmine rice in a sushi you use sushi rice because like it say it says it on the box like wow its such as easy fix but like they want more money
They donāt even where proper uniforms like go to any other sushi place and you will find proper uniforms(adding to my argument about this cheapskate place)
The place look like in needed a renovation. The tablet looked like it came straight from eBay like it was very greasy compared to normal tablets at sushi edo. Plus the place was very cramped
The drinks here are atrocious. Ordered a taro milk tea. The fact that they used syrup instead of regular powder or fresh taro was obvious because of the over saturated colour of the milk tea. Oh yeah, it tasted atrocious.
And last but not least. As literally everyone on this review page is saying that if you see tiny asian man running around, you will expect terrible service. One he doesnāt even acknowledge you when he gives you your food, some guy accidentally sat at the takeaway area. The man didnāt say for example. Sorry, this area is reserved for takeaway customers could you please sit over here. Iām so sorry about that miscommunication, here Iāll help move these plates. Nope. Literally said āYOUā¦..OVER THEREā like wow.
So like a beg you either go somewhere else for sushi or literally anywhere else on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been a patron of this place well before it fell under the āmanagementā of Mista Boo.. Back then, a glass of water was placed in front of you as soon as you sat down. Now you have to order even water. The food is still from the old menu - that is good. The care that goes into preparing the food is, however āslapdashā at best, ānon-existentā at worse. Even I could prepare a hand roll than the current staff - which given the Japanese belief in finesse, presentation and precision - is a true disappointment to the customer/patron if not the food staff. Perhaps it is because of their youth, the āmanagerā himself looks like he just had his 20th birthday. Maybe heās the son of the original Mista Boo across the road, who was given control of the sushi station as his 20th birthday presentā¦who knows? All I can say about Mista Booās management of this sushi bar,is that he should find a new station managerā¦one thatās old enough to shave. Thee is one bright light in this business, the long-haired, tall, young lady who we had to collect the bill. Her friendliness, knowledge of the business, and lovely personality saved this meal outing from being far less...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an unfortunate experience at "Sushi Station" restaurant due to the terrible attention I received from the staff. From the moment I arrived I felt like I was not welcome in the place. The staff seemed distracted and uninterested in serving me, and I had to wait a long time before being served.
When I was finally served, the owner seemed disinterested in my order and did not give me any recommendations on the items on the menu. Then when I received my food the order was wrong and I had to wait even longer for the correct dish to be brought to me.
Also, throughout the dinner, the staff were chatting loudly and laughing, making the atmosphere loud and uncomfortable. When I tried to get the attention of the staff to let them know my complaint, I was completely ignored.
In short, my experience here was very disappointing due to the terrible care I received from the staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone as it is apparent that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them.
If you want to be treated like a dog, you are in the...
