Yummy Chicken & Fish — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I was out shopping with my client the other day, she ordered food from this place, and asked me to go get her a napkin. So I went to the same place to ask for a napkin, as we were sitting right next to the shop. I politely asked the man serving for a napkin, however I was told that they do not order in napkins. I thought I heard him say after that "wait right there, or I'll be back" thinking that he may have some paper towel out the back that he could give me, to save me and my client with a disability from walking further just to get a napkin.

I patiently waited for him to bring me something, however I had misheard what he had said, and I was asked "What do you want? Are you going to order something?" In which I said no I am just waiting for a napkin, and I was then told by this man "Go away! Get a napkin from somewhere else!" Never in my life have I been told to "Go away" or even been yelled at by a customer service worker. It was not necessary as I was polite and kind to this man and just wanted a single napkin.

I am confused on how you can serve food, but not be able to provide a napkin for your customers. When I misheard him I assumed he would bring me some paper towel instead, but no clearly that is also too difficult. If you can't offer paper towel instead of a napkin, I would love to know what you are using to wipe down your benches and clean with.

If I was just told "Sorry we don't provide napkins here" that would not have been a problem. But to be yelled at and told to go away, is just down right rude, and that is not how you speak to another human being. It is a shame that a grown man cannot understand that. I am assuming that this man was the manager because I have read past reviews and he clearly does not give a damn about service and being a decent...

Scammed? False advertising in my opinion. VERY RUDE.

HOPEFULLY SOMEONE READS THIS WARNING BEFORE GETTING CAUGHT, LIKE I DID.

Saw a burger on the advertising board with a price under it. Pointed to it and said: “can I have that one please”. Got a terribly small burger, way different.

I asked him where the onion rings and bacon was and he replied: Look at the written description. Not the picture.

After reading the description (which is nothing like the picture), I then asked where the beetroot is that is listed. He then put his finger in my burger and wiped the mayo to the side and pointed to a 2cm x 2cm piece.

I complained and he said that he has been doing business there for 4 years already(which is hard to believe with service like that).

SO HOPEFULLY SOMEONE READS THIS WARNING BEFORE GETTING...

The owner was so disrespectful to an 86 yr old lady I not buy anything...he lost a $60 sale because he got abusive about a pen. Maybe he not need the business...be respectful to your elders......update after 6 months a response from the owner saying" an 86 yr old could not walk around a big shopping centre so I must be lying " hahaha well yes there are a lot of capable 80+ year olds out there, and it's hardly a big shopping centre. The fact that you were rude and kept arguing with me, ruined your potential sale. I guess you don't need the money, or a fool and his money are soon parted...the response should have been "sorry I don't have a pen" not an...
