Rude. When I kindly asked if they could turn the loud music down (a bit!) - so I could have a quality catch-up with friends who were visiting from out of town - they said they would, - but they didn't, and asked me to sit outside at the bench table. I have a disability, so I said I needed to sit in the chair inside (which is true). The man at the neighbouring table agreed it was too loud, and that they were being rude. So, I left after my coffee and arranged to meet my travelling friends elsewhere. My mother wears a hearing aid and never goes to places like this (she is also a long-time Byron local) because it is too hard on the hearing aids when you are trying to pick up voices. I ordered one Açai bowl, two coffees and a Japanese chicken burguer which was delicious. They have a description in their menu saying “ we respectfully declined any changes on the menu” funny thing. The relaxation really begins on our daily walk to the Lighthouse then down to Wategos and around to the Pass where we sit and enjoy the most wonderful breakfast that you can have at Byron. Kylie and Dean as hosts have been operating The Pass Cafe for 14 years, and we have been here for each annd everyone of those. The breakfast is amazing and the quality of the produce which is so important is excellent. All of the staff try their best to provide the most welcome service which they always achieve. Both my husband and I cannot recommend the Pass Cafe highly enough and would urge you to take the opportunity either walking or driving up to the Pass Cafe just to sit back and enjoy what Byron really...
