Not a good experience at all. A pleasant enough setting but the waitress didn't speak good English. The restaurant was empty except for one table yet she sat us right next to the only other couple in the place which was very awkward. We ordered soft drinks but they were flat and clearly served out of a bottle from a supermarket. I ordered a vegetarian Pho which was extremely basic and something I could have made at home. It honestly just tasted like supermarket stock, packet noodles, and chopped mushrooms with no effort made with presentation. Then when I used the bathroom, which is right next to kitchen, there was a cockroach on the door. We left as soon as we could and will not be eating here again.

The restaurant has a very lively and busy atmosphere, everyone can chat loudly even though the place is quite enclosed, it makes me remember about Vietnam a lot. There are lots of food options to choose from and some dishes really taste the same as dishes made in Vietnam. However I have to say, be careful when choosing dishes with soup or Pho because they’re too salty. We came from Vietnam and we couldn’t take more than three spoons. But if you find traditional Vietnamese dishes a bit too bland, the soup might be for you.

Came from out of town for half a day. An old mate recommended we meet here for dinner. Excellent selection. Menu was more focused than the menus in Footscray, which I appreciated. The spring rolls and prawns were lovely, and the roast pork vermicelli was huge. Really enjoyed their Vietnamese take on the affogato, too - made with Vietnamese milk coffee instead of espresso. We walked up on a Tuesday and they squeezed us into the window - they were pretty booked out to be honest. Recommended.

The food is pretty good but I have found the menu to be quite misleading, they label certain items as gluten free / vegan, for example the rice paper rolls are advertised as gluten free, but the dipping sauce which they are served with is not gluten free and this could be dangerous for people with more serious gluten allergies than me, also the gluten free and vegan tofu vermicelli bowl is not served with any sauce as the sauce contains fish, and yet the dish is still advertised as being vegan and gluten free, and the sauce on the vermicelli bowl is what gives it any flavour, I’m not normally one to leave reviews but I am leaving this with the hopes that you can hopefully actually make the dishes gluten free and vegan as you advertise them because it’s quite misleading and I have eaten the rice paper roll dipping sauce a few times thinking it was gluten free and having and unknown stomach reaction and have now only just been made aware it has contained gluten the whole time, pls make the sauces vegan and gluten free if you advertise the dishes as vegan...

This shop has ramp access for wheelchairs- nice and wide, and the door looks compliant for easy opening for wheelchair users. The interior is very peaceful feeling, high ceilings and gorgeous timber floors. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the food came very quickly, about 15 mins for a fair bit of food. I ordered for takeaway and everything was nicely packed, including the sauces. The spring rolls were hard to describe- not the usual ones I've had. They were good but not standard. The vermicelli was rather lacklustre, but ok. Definitely not the nicest I've had. Plenty of meat but lacking vegetables. The bao buns were good, nice big chunks of pork and chicken. The rice paper rolls were as expected, and delicious. Overall an awesome experience! Especially seeing as Super Hiro is closed...

I got the Hanoi spring rolls. I was a bit disappointed with how little there was on the plate. They also forgot to give me one piece of lettuce for one of my rolls. The iceberg lettuce was cut into quarters - these quarters were too small to fit the rolls. Coriander and mint was put on the top of the lettuce but I don't know what the point of that is if you can't fit it in the lettuce let alone the roll. I've been to other Vietnamese restaurants that will give you one whole lettuce leaf per roll, and some rice noodles you can add inside the lettuce leaf along with the spring roll, for the same price. The actual rolls tasted good and the sauce was fine. I didn't have to wait long for this dish. I wasn't satisfied overall but it was okay. That entree wasn't...
