Tried it, loved it and will definitely be back! Staff were friendly, super helpful and knew their products well enough to give recommendations. I am a sucker for creamy milk teas, and not many bubble tea places can make a taro milk tea well (often they're too watery or they taste like artificial powder).
Based on my preference, the staff recommended the fresh taro latte (and I added red beans) and they even had the option of soy milk! She told me the fresh taro latte (over the taro milk tea) has the fuller taro flavour and even had bits of taro in it. I was reminded to shake well before drinking.
Let me tell you, I will not be going to anywhere else for my taro milk tea fix but here!! That drink was sooo good! It's been a long time since I've found a new bubble tea place that has impressed me!
They even said they can serve my bubble tea into my eco glass bubble tea cup so I will bring that next time! Highly recommend as their staff, service and quality of their tea...

Their menu has a huge variety of bubble tea flavors to choose from, and I love trying new ones. But my personal favorite has to be the mochi milk teaāthe chewy mochi is a fun addition, and the flavors are always perfect. As a huge bubble tea fan, Iām pretty particular about my drinks, but Chaffic always hits the mark. Whether itās a hot summer day or cooler weather, their drinks are great any time of year.
The atmosphere is relaxed, even with the crowds, which makes it a nice spot to grab a drink. If youāre around Claremont and in the mood for some bubble tea, Chaffic is definitely a must-visit. You really canāt go wrong with anything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCan't speak for their fruit teas but Chaffic just CAN'T do milk teas. Twice I've tried their milk teas and both times I'd have rather not had anything at all. I ordered a jasmine milk tea and it did not taste like Jasmine, or milk, or tea. I think the tofu is just WAY too overpowering.
And that's another thing! I feel like they don't advertise that they use tofu enough. A lot of people (me included) don't like the taste of tofu and might be surprised by it in a bad way, like i was. Why did I order it twice if I know I don't like tofu? I didn't realise that's why I didn't like it the first time because they don't tell you anywhere! I thought I'd just ordered a bad option so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again. I very much regretted this.
Nothing against this particular store, staff were all lovely, just not a fan...
