The meal I ordered today was not very appealing and lacked flavour. I ordered the chicken fried rice and lamb stir fry which had only 5 to 6 little pieces of lamb in a big takeaway container of vegetables and noodles paid ($21) for just eating flavourless food which looked more like a vegetable stir fry then lamb stir fry and for the chicken fried rice they only put 5 pieces of chicken breast sitting on top of the container and only consists of onions without the veggies which only had one green Asian veg in there which looked like a full serve of what we pay for. Very dry and flavourless, rice was sticky and not the type of fried rice I have eaten before at a thai restaurant. Paid ($20). The worst part is that I was the only customer there at the time of ordering my meals and they still couldn't make the meals properly. Won't be eating there again....
Read moreThis place is an absolute gem. Stopped here on the way to Port Macquarie and we were a bit rushed with the 1hr parking spot nearby. The staff made sure everything was prepared fast for us. The food was served hot and fresh. The beef chunks in the massaman curry was top notch. It was juicy and soft. It came with big chunks of potato and sweet potato. The chicken green curry was also really smooth and had a rich coconut flavour with a slight spicy touch. It had plenty of fresh veggies as well.
The chicken fried rice was also spicy and the rice was super fluffy with chunks of chicken. The coconut rice was nice and flavourful as well. Also tried the satay chicken which was made super fresh and hot with a nice sweet peanut sauce. Have to park behind the restaurant which we didn't realise till late. Ended up parking in the 1P...
Read moreWhen I think of Thai food, I think clean, fresh and fragrant. First up, $73 for 2 entrees and 2 mains, expectations are relatively high. The only high point of the meal was the price. Vege spring rolls smelled of seafood, of which my wife can’t eat. The vegetarian noodle stir fry Extremely oily and overcooked! Again inedible. The coconut rice, I find it hard to understand how they made it so stodgy! I had a chicken stir fry, very little chicken (and what I had was tough and gristly) and again very oily. 95% of the food went in the bin, the rest was eaten only because we hadn’t eaten all day. Supposedly rated one of the top 3 Thai restaurants in Coffs… …Disappointed doesn’t even start to express my...
