Oporto - Belconnen — Restaurant in District of Belconnen

Came here to re-try the pulled chicken bowl as it was very good when we tried before. We came in a group of 3during our college break-time, and ordered 3 pulled chicken bowl. We were eagerly waiting for the expected food. But when our food came, it was different from what we ordered. We got 3 Bondi bowls instead. We told told the lady at the counter about the mixup of food, but she specifically told us that it is what we ordered. But the funny thing is we even did not know about the name ‘Bondi bowl’ until the food mix up so how could we have ordered the food of which we did not know the name even. But we did not make it a big fuss about the incident and ate the food. The lady at the service was not kind and very opinionated. She forced her decision on us instead of correcting the mistake.

The food we got ‘ Bondi bowl’ was not even worth it for $16 with just a salad under some chicken tenders.

Please have some decency lady while talking to the customers and resolving issues.

I went for lunch this past Wednesday at Oporto in Westfield Belconnen, hoping for a solid meal like I’ve had there before. I ordered the half chicken box, and at first, I was pretty happy—the first piece of chicken was tender and tasty, just what I was craving. Every time you order something online they seemingly have ran out of the stock for it. How do you run out of a menu item at 1pm when you have only been open a couple of hours? Then when they offer you compensation it is a serving of chips or a free drink, but get offended when you suggest something of equal value to what you ordered.
