Came with my kids and mum for Mother’s Day. Haven’t been here for 5 + years. The customer service was so bad. I asked the lady with no name tag and long pony tail, if we could have the table cleaned so we can sit down and she seemed annoyed at the request. I asked twice. The same lady taking my order was still rude and was asking my order but talking else where at the same time. She was very dismissive and for paying almost $80 for food I would expect better engagement. The same lady made The “hot chocolate” which were cold. The platter for two was ok but not worth the price. The cake was ok but not worth the $$ I was so annoyed at the service, it was my time with my mum and I was so disappointed. 2/5 stars because the chocolate it self was very nice

Went today 25/5 We had hot chocolates and tried the waffles. The service was 100% change. Then man that I ordered from was attentive and nice. No negative energy. We went after school and my kids were very happy with afternoon tea. I really enjoyed it...

Went to Max Brenner on Saturday the 29th January. The staff member who took my orders name was Jackson. He was extremely rude, felt like we were annoying him by ordering and he had 0 enthusiasm, not a smile in sight. After we ordered from Jackson we sat down with our table number. Soon later a staff member came over and asked if we had ordered an English breakfast tea, I said no a camomile. She then asked if we had the English breakfast as well. I said no. We waited 15 minutes for our food order (which was only 2 chocolate pots and some banana/strawberries). I went over and stood at the counter for a few minutes, staff kept walking past and didn’t acknowledge I was there. I had to then ask how long on order for table 10 to which NONE of the staff knew where or what my order was. Jackson then, obviously annoyed by me, said “well what’s your order again??”. I was very annoyed and angry so asked for a refund on my order. This was extremely disappointing , and your staff member, Jackson, needs to be heavily re-trained on...

We recently went there for dessert on a Saturday night and ordered the Italian hot chocolate, fondue for one and troffle toast to share between the two of us.

I'm not sure how this is possible but it was chocolate overload. The fondue was with rocky road, banana bread, bananas and waffles. The rocky road definitely did not need any more chocolate, the banana bread with chocolate was super rich (not for the fainthearted) and the waffles were slightly stale (?). The banana with chocolate was nice though with the balance of ripe bananas and rich milk chocolate.

We ordered with the QR code but for some reason ordering on the phone was a little tricky and took a few goes but once the order was in, the food came pretty quickly.

The place even had a huge batch of chocolate churning in a tub..... it was a lottttttt of chocolate, wonder if they use that the next...
