Playground is awesome has 2 parts one for the smaller babies and than a flying fox to separate it out with another playground that is treetop like so off the ground. Rest rooms are so clean and tidy right by playgrounds and there are picnic tables all around. Some with roofs some without. There is also a self walk/ training QR code trail that you scan around the park too if that's you. Has beautiful ponds small waterfalls and flowing water into the lake. Cockatoos every where and ducks and ducklings at this time. Was very cold heaps of parking and heaps of rubbish bins so that was a plus. BBQ by the lakeside with tables and some up by the playground too. Dog friendly as well as a lot of people had their fur family with them too. So bring a lead.

A gorgeous escape from the hustle and bustle. This park is one of the most popular in Belconnen .. visit the snake house playground plus another fun play area, flying fox, exercise stations, a disc golf course, refill bottle water stations, public toilets, multiple BBQs and picnic tables, and places to stroll and feed the ducks (not bread though please) Walking around the lake on the convenient pathways is a wonderful way to enjoy the fresh air and see what Canberra is all about. Families coming together to enjoy the outdoors and nature and having a great time.

Fabulous park facilities including children’s play equipment, outdoor gym, lake style beach area and BBQ facilities. There is also public bathrooms located close by and ample free parking as well. Facilities are quite modern, children could easily spend a couple of hours playing here. There were plenty of birthday parties being set up at the public BBQ tables when we were here on the weekend. Definately worth a stop in with the family.

Belconnen lake front and a special park that is dedicated to the founding senate John knight who first served in the newly formed ACT government.

An amazing place that have an abundant picnic and bbq seating and grills for many wonderful parties and celebrations. Older kids can roam free through the park for orientating, adventure slides and wet there feet in a man make creek. Younger ones can enough an upgraded playrooms with the latest playground equipment or feed/watch the ducks on the lake shore.

If you get up early enough on Saturday morning you can join in for the park run for both able and guided accessible running events or just walk amongst the locals taking in the fresh air and their dogs on leash.

The place is magical overlooking the man made lake that is clean and often used by canoeing enthusiasts on a nice warm days.

Plenty of benches too for those that wish to ponder with love ones or just alone to leave the world a little and focus with nature before you head back into the world.

Plenty of parking, connected cycleway and walking paths for you to come, play...

Edited on 22/01/2020: Now that I have a 14-month old toddler, I would like to take back what I said about the park being good for every age. I still love the parks and the little nooks of the park. However, I realized that the play areas are more suited to ages 2 or 3 and above. There are no swings or slides which are suitable for little toddlers. They have two major play areas (one with a red tower near the outdoor gym, and a blue and yellow themed shaded area near water features). I wish they could put at least a swing or a low slide for tiny tots. While my bub was not impressed by the outdoor play area, she did enjoy watching the ducks and seagulls though. :)

Nice park with spaces for every age. There's an outdoor gym, basketball courts, wide space good for frisbee, zip line for kids, bbq, water features, etc. Park looks good...

This is an excellent park. There is a lot to do here and plenty of spaces to enjoy. There are two Basketball courts. A small area with some exercise activities. Playgrounds for the kids, near toilet facilities. A beautiful flowing waterfall that starts at one end of the park. The water moves through ponds of creative art and passes under bridges. It stretches across the park and eventually empties down into the lake. There is a small island on the lake that is connected by an arched bridge. It provides a great spot to view birds and other animals. There are BBQ spots available right beside the water edge. The park also features a disc golf course used by the ACT Disc Golf Club. With plenty of shade and some beautiful scenery, I would definitely recommend...
