Pattysmiths Belconnen — Restaurant in District of Belconnen

First time trying Pattysmiths. We had: Pattysmith burger Cheeseburger combo (burger, fries, drink) Loaded fries

Roughly costing around $58-60

My partner pre-ordered around 4:30, and delivery was super fast, arriving earlier than expected. Food was nicely packaged and no spillage, which made it easy to eat.

I would’ve liked more seasoning in the patty and it was just a bit over cooked. Having said that, it was still delicious! For me, the portion was just right. I liked the pattysmith burger over the cheeseburger as it has a bit more crunch/balance from the added veggies, which helped cut through some of the grease from the burger.

But the loaded fries was the star of the night for me, it was so crispy and tasted like it came straight out of the fryer. It was still hot when it arrived. A good cheese-bacon-fries ratio (though you may not see that in the picture), in my opinion. Not too greasy and a great side to share with others. I probably wouldn’t be able to have one by myself.

Edit: 06/2024 Saturday 2pm on a long weekend. Isham was working alone. Many tables, a handful of takeaway customers, one big family table with big order, the machines beeping worse than an ICU, and he managed to keep a smile while talking to customers and spinning all plates while keeping his cool. Burger is great, but this guy is the one deserving the 5 stars.

EDIT: decided to come again this morning. The burgers were great, the service was impeccable, Seth went above and beyond to make sure we were well served and happy with our choices. +1 star.

Original: The burger is great, the chips are crispy crunchy and dry, onion rings are great... Once I got there to pick-up it wasn't ready (no worries)... so I was waiting and I saw the bloke behind the counter slamming everything that would pass on his hands... Burger in the box? Slam... Boxes in the bag? Slam, slam, slam...

"you can grab your drink on your way out", and the one I ordered was not available in 2lt... So I got a 600ml instead and left, to avoid any more...

Burgers good, very similar to Betty's Burgers. Service average, not rude but just slow and unprofessional, like people that had wandered in to a work place and started working without much training. The server didn't know if they had desserts or not and then read the on screen menu with me to work it out. The milkshake came out after I finished my burger. The vibe is just eat and run which is a shame as its in a nice setting by the water. When we visited there were a large number of drinks in boxes filling one side of the room which looked to be the permanent storage area. Weird ad burgers great so missed opportunity. Gripe with the milkshakes as well which just taste like fish and chip shop milkshakes, even though they are thicker. They lack the chocolate taste of a real American milkshake.
