Wokitup! Belconnen — Restaurant in District of Belconnen

I honestly can’t believe how rude the young girl working at the counter was tonight. She had zero manners, zero professionalism, and a horrible attitude from the moment we walked in. We were told it would be a 10-minute wait — fine, no problem — but when we walked in we were greeted by the literal worst young girl I’ve ever come across (fake eyelash) who said it would be up to 45 mins, we were still standing there waiting for our food while other people were being served first.

When I politely asked about our order, she rolled her eyes, sighed, and acted like I was a complete inconvenience. When I asked for a refund after waiting so long, she couldn’t have cared less. No apology, no basic customer service — just attitude and disrespect.

Everyone gets busy, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to be openly rude or dismissive to paying customers. If this girl represents how Wok It Up Belconnen treats people, they seriously need to rethink who they hire. Absolutely revolting experience — I’ll never go back.

The quality of Wok It Up has declined so much over the years. Specially at Belconnen. The last 2/3 times I’ve gone here the food has been poor flavour and taste. Tonight I ordered a small fried rice box with no meat or egg and extra veggies. By the time it got to my house it was just a soggy box smothered in some type of thick gravy. It was like eating mush. Last time I got take away from there and got it home it was a box of noodles. Literally just noodles with about 2 pieces of veggies. I emailed to complain and didn’t even get a reply email to acknowledge my complaint. No idea what’s going on but so disappointing as we used to love Wok It Up. I would no longer recommend and will actively avoid eating there...

Every time I go here, I regret it and its entirely due to poorly managed staff. Every time I go, I time my arrival to when my meal should be cooked. I go in and see my order is still being made on their dashboard which they recently installed at great cost which is totally redundant. I see a meal waiting in the heating tray. I then wait for 15 mins before someone asks if I am waiting on an order which turns out to be the meal that has been sitting in the heating tray the entire time I been there. So now it's cold and not fresh, which when I reheat in the microwave I see is burnt. If McDonalds can get it right by shouting out ready meal numbers at regular intervals why can't these idiots, honestly, it's not...
