Very disappointed.. I ordered a bowl.. the food tasted very bland, and was not fresh like you would expect Mexican fair to be.. the onion and corn were soggy and soft, not plump and juicy, and the meat was stodgy stone cold, and rice overcooked and stodgy.. firstly, I only received literally two mouthfuls of meat, and I swapped some of the usual things included, that I don’t like , with an extra serve of what I do like, e.g, I swapped the serve of pinto beans, for another serve of onion salsa and the cheese for another serve of corn, so it ends up just being the same size and amount in the bowl, but just swapped some for ones I like..
however, when the girl who served me did this, she did not give me the proper serve size, eg, the corn was whatever corn she could pick up with 3 fingers is what I got, like getting a pinch of salt, and if two serves of corn equaled what I got, I would hate to see what one serve was, and I could count every piece of corn before she got to the next topping and that’s not an exaggeration.. and that was the same for the other things.. the only thing I ordered as an add on extra was the guacamole which I asked for double, despite having a measuring scoop, I only received three parts of a scoop, but it should have been 2 full scoops, and I had to pay extra for that..
I feel terrible for writing all of this, but, when people are handing over their hard earned money for something, then they should receive what they are supposed to.. and the owners need to know what’s happening because it’s their business and reputation on the line.. it’s hard enough for businesses to survive in these times, and if I had a business, I know I would want to know if my customers were happy because I would hate to...

Communication was very difficult with her, she spoke at a very low volume even still after I took my AirPods out.
She definitely had the “I don’t want to be here” attitude. Very emotionless & unenthusiastic.
The order made was very mediocre, compared to all the other orders I get (mind you which are the same) from different Zambrero stores in Canberra. Quite disappointing that it’s not up to scratch with all the other stores in ACT.
I hope she is okay & isn’t in need of any mental support. If you feel that way & act like that at work, take a day off.
As a previous hospitality employee, enthusiasm, clear speech & great customer service is key.
I have found that recently a lot of stores in Canberra not just this one, have very poor customer service. You ask a question & 9/10 times (that is a fact.) they answer; I don’t know, I’m not sure, no idea.

All the staff had to do to attend me for which they were least bothered and eventually I initiated the conversation on which staff had to say I don’t have a delivery bag. I went out and got the bag and again they were not able to attend and disappeared for 10 more minutes..
My request: if you don’t want the food to get colder then try to give a faster service by attending the customers instead of pointing out people for their bags. Ironic it is, the food can’t get any colder if it is already sitting there from half an hour..
