The attentive and friendly team went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and that I had an enjoyable experience. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests were impressive. Kudos to the outstanding service!

🍽️ Food 🍽️ Amazing!! Absolutely amazing! I ordered two custom requests on two of my dishes and they were perfect and also two different staff members came by to check that it was what I had requested and everything was ok. It was delicious food and amazing service.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kid-Friendly 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 One of the standout features of this café is its dedication to being kid-friendly. As a parent, I truly appreciate that they helped me arrive and take my order at the table when I was solo with my 2 and 3 year old. They could see I would have had to take them all up and worked around to help me. The staff's friendly and welcoming interactions with children add an extra layer of warmth to the experience. It's a relief to find a place that caters to both adults and children!

💰 Affordable Prices 💰 One of the best things about this café is that you can enjoy all of the above without breaking the bank. Ps I had actually arrived at this cafe as mt second destination after I had to leave the first cafe when the chef wouldn’t take the blueberries out of my 3 y.o’s...

I visited Dockside twice and here is my opinion!

Seating: I love the semi-outdoor seating where there is still some warmth during the colder months so that I can sit with my dog! Really cozy and spacious.

Food: Food is very good and taste is above average relative to Canberra cafes in general. Price is also about the same. However, I did notice that some portions are a bit small. For the shakshuka, I had to add mushrooms on the side to make a filling meal. On my second visit, I shared the Calamari salad and Pork Benny with someone else, and the portion was quite small. I was especially disappointed at the amount of salad that was given in the dish that is named Calamari Salad, after all. This cafe does have a nice sides menu where you can add roast mushrooms and such, so make sure to order enough for you to make a filling meal.

Service: I didn't find service to be a big part of the experience, as they help you get seated, but you order online through QR and they just bring the food to you. Our table did not have enough utensils in the utensil tub on the table so we had to grab our own, but otherwise, every one did their job and were nice.

Bathroom: As all the cafes in this area, the bathroom is a bathroom in the building shared with several other shops and have to walk around the building. It's pretty clean and...

Attended today Sunday 10th December- Incredibly disappointing experience. Had lunch there twice now with the family and it’s been equally disappointing on both occasions. All meals were overpriced for the size of the portions. Not filling and missing ingredients as per menu description. The staff was rude and disinterested. My meal specifically was missing chorizo- I spoke to 2 different staff who seemed clueless and literally ran away without a response before sending a young woman who appeared bothered I was asking for the rest of my meal. She brought the missing chorizo back and ran off. Absolutely no customer service skills. This place could have potential if it invested in trained staff or dared hiring anyone above the age of 18. I assumed this is about cutting cost. The prices of the dishes has to come down if they wish to continue charging so much. ...
