Hideout — Restaurant in District of Canberra Central

I am visiting this coffee shop daily for few months now… Coffee is better than other places but not the best. Staff’s customer service and attitude is very terrible. I had my coffee delayed many times because I ordered extra hot, well it just takes few seconds extra and not really few minutes? Many time I have got less quantity, 60 to 70% than what you get everywhere, as usual they don’t care for their customers and even after complaining they don’t seems to do anything… not only me but my colleagues had similar issues but there is no better alternative hence they still visit this place… But I can’t handle it anymore and not going to visit this...

Ok so I'm from Melbourne and I'm probably biased, but the sign outside says "the best coffee in Canberra" and if that's the case, poor Canberra: I've had better coffee in shopping centres.

It's a vicious circle here. The coffee spruker has a really loud microphone and he's not afraid to use it. He calls out a continuous series of names of lucky take away coffee winners. I keep waiting for him to end with "come on down". No one in their right mind would want to sit inside and listen to this onslaught on the ears, so more and more people just get take away, and more and more names need...

Without a doubt the worst coffee shop I have been to. The coffee might be great - I don’t know. Twice in the same order they managed to forget my coffee - the first time, and then again after being reminded. The place could be empty and it still takes about 15 minutes for some pretentious kid to make it. Quicker to go to Colombia and grab some...
