We recently had the pleasure of visiting Interlude Cafe in Canberra, and it was an experience worth sharing. Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, this cafe offers a warm ambiance that makes it perfect for both casual meet-ups and solo work sessions.

The coffee here is exceptional; I ordered a skim cappuccino and a piccolo, and it was perfectly crafted with a rich flavor and velvety texture. The barista clearly knows their stuff! I also indulged in a slice of their freshly baked banana bread, which was delightfully moist and packed with flavor. The menu offers a great variety of options, catering to different dietary needs, which I really appreciated. From hearty breakfast options to lighter lunch fare, there’s something for everyone. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars is that my friend’s avocado toast was a bit underseasoned, which was a minor letdown in an otherwise stellar meal. The service was friendly and attentive, striking that perfect balance between being available and giving us space to enjoy our meal. Overall, Interlude Cafe is a gem in Canberra, and I look forward to visiting again soon – maybe to try out their weekend brunch! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable spot to enjoy quality...

Great selection of fresh and prepared food, coffee and cakes! Service was prompt and helpful on the four time I have been here. Every time I have come at lunch time it has been busy, but there has always been tables available.

Located fronting Gordon St, Interlude has a funky atmosphere complete with outdoor eating with various strays of tables and chairs. Milk crates with pillow are an interesting way to eat and chat away the lunchtime (they were my pick).

I was a fan of their BLT roll, vanilla slice was pretty tidy as...

I ordered a breakfast wrap and they brought out a breakfast burger. When I told the server that I ordered a wrap not a burger they gave me a look that made me feel so uncomfortable that I just took the burger. The bread was very stale so I took it off and went to get cutlery to just eat the insides and all their cutlery was dirty so I didn’t eat the breakfast. Carrot cake is dry don’t waste your time. Drinks are fine but that experience just put a sour taste in my mouth. I won’t be returning waste of money $35 just...

Have been coming here for years and it’s wonderful. Super friendly and efficient service and good options for food. On this visit I had the Salmon Bagel and a soy chai latte. Both excellent. I also really like their ordering app as it makes it quicker and has the loyalty program digitally which reduces waste.
