Lovely little cafe with restaurant quality food, in a great location. Food was amazing I ordered a seafood platter. I was a bit surprised at the portion size (see photo s). Tasty food at a reasonable price with good size portions (stuffed by the time I'd finished). Friendly and respectful staff, felt welcomed and at home. Fantastic experience thank you we will be back before we head back to the UK 😁.

We just stopped for a coffee and didn’t eat. Coffee was great, warm and nicely balanced. Couldn’t fault it. They have the option for you to order using QR code from the table but we couldn’t do this as our network provider wasn’t great in the area. Would be convenient to be able to do so. That said, no fault of the cafe but that of the network. Ordering from inside was easy enough.

We didn't stay, it was too crowded and a huge amount of seating wasn't accessible because it had been taken apart and filled with drinks! The food was good, the bread roll was very fresh. The coffee was ok. Located beside a pond that is teeming with tadpoles! The staff are very focused on their jobs.

Wow, where do I even begin with the Gold Creek Cafe? I had the most amazing experience there, and I feel like I have to share it with the world! Let me start by saying that the Eggs Benedict I had there were out of this world. The perfect combination of hollandaise sauce, poached eggs and bacon (well, the cheese bacon in my case!) just melted in my mouth. I could hardly contain my excitement as I savored every single bite!

But that's not all, my favorite part about the Gold Creek Cafe was definitely the amazing service provided by a man named Ollie Mason, or as he calls himself on good days, Troy. Ollie went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and supported. As a member of the Jewish community, I often feel like an outsider in some places, but Ollie made sure that I felt comfortable and appreciated.

He made sure that any bacon I got was made out of cheese, which is so considerate and thoughtful. I was blown away by the caramel milkshake he made for me, it was honestly the best I've ever had. And when I was feeling sad, Ollie would give me reassurance.

On top of all of that, Ollie was also incredibly helpful in ensuring that my restraining order against a man who goes by mr.Snickles was always accounted for. He never let him in when I was there, which gave me peace of mind and made me feel safe.

The Gold Creek Cafe is not just a cafe, it's a haven of warmth and acceptance. Ollie and the rest of the staff made me feel like I was part of their family, and I cannot thank them enough for that. The next time you're in town, do yourself a favor and make sure you stop by this gem of a place. Trust me, you won't be...

I used to be a semi-regulat prior to COVID often getting a nice brekky after night shift. The food was never spectacular but always nice & great value for money with good service. In the last 18 months, I have been here several times with work mates for a coffee, as always great service with good coffee!

Today, I was at a loose end nearby & stopped for brekky and had Eggs Benny with bacon. I didnt really look at the prices but I did go "ok" when the till racked up $30.

When coffee and brekky was served in a timely manner with friendly service, again didnt notice and kept reading the news on my phone. However the meal was ordinary to say the least. It was basicaly the quality (& size) of an open McDonalds egg & bacon McMuffin with a drizzle of hollandaise on top, no spinach or garnish & the eggs were way overcooked on a dry english muffin with avg bacon.

I don't mind oaying for quality & when I know I can get a big breakfast & coffee (of better std) for those prices at competitors nearby, I'm sorry, I'll be unlikely to return except for a coffee (& only if nearby - coffee & service was nice as always) until the food quality is fixed to better than just edible! (I also think you meed to check your prices! I know we have had a lot of inflation but this was an avg size, basic cafe staple not a retaurant meal!)

I wonder if it has changed hands? ... or just the cooks? Shame as I always liked the place (coffee, service & atmispehere are great) & I used to recommend to others (against a high profile cafe nearby). Sorry, you have lost a regular ...for...

The cafe itself is nice, surrounded by garden beds and shaded. The menu is ok, burgers and curry wraps, a few salads. The children's menu is excellently priced. There is a small small childrens play table and blackboard (not enticing enough for my toddlers to play with - would be great if they bought in some kids books to the kids area). My children had the nuggets (4) and dinosaur pancakes (4 small pancakes, don't be getting excited about it) which they enjoyed. We ordered the chicken burgers, they were tasty and the fries were nice and crisp. HOWEVER..... (drum roll) the waitress forgot to send our order to the kitchen so after waiting for over 45 minutes (it was busy so I was giving them a thorough grace period) I asked one waitress to check, she didn't get back to me, so I went to the counter and asked another who realised the error and said we'd get it soon. By this time my children were throwing fits from being hungry and bored. There was no apology or any attempt to compensate for the extreme wait (over an hour). Very disappointed as they could see we were there with 4 very...
