NH8 Indian cuisine — Restaurant in District of Gungahlin

Ordered Chicken 65, Chicken Tikka & Chettinand. All the dishes were so tasteless, we struggled to eat even few bites, let alone finishing a single serve. Garlic naans were half dry from the top. Chicken 65 also felt like not fully cooked and was very chewy, too savoury as well. Only positive was the lady serving us, she was polite, welcoming and deserves an applause for her customer service. However, we went there for food and overall extremely disappointed. Not 1 dish out of 3 we could say was okay, unfortunately. It was our first time here as we wanted to try out a new restaurant and unfortunately, it will be our last. Won’t go back again, as the food doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We fell for 4 star ratings on Google but the food, taste, presentation etc. is no where even close to 0.1 star. Very ordinary food, totally wasted money by going there and went home with almost empty bellies regretting our decision for choosing to come for a dinner here. We’re getting unpleasant refluxes when reached home and late in the night even though we had just a tiny portion of food. Never ever in my life we will go back.

Firstly, it seems from your this response and others that I have read, you don’t seem to take the feedback positively and seems to always defend with not so positive ground or outlook. Chicken 65, no way it was yogurt savour taste as you are putting it, it was pure lime savoury taste, excessive lime in such a small portion. You should go and try Chicken 65 at other restaurants near by to understand the authentic taste. Let me know if you want the names of some of the best places that serve Chicken 65. Chicken tikka masala and Chettinand as well no were near to the authentic taste. You also seemed to have missed to defend about half cooked chicken and dry naans.

Ordered two curruies on 2nd of Oct for dinner. Butter chicken was very very sweet. Tastes like a dessert. Chicken chettinad gravey was disgusting. I think I can cook better even by closing my eyes.

I had butter chicken and chicken chettinad numerous times. Never felt butter chicken so sweet, obivously sugar was added twice by mistake by your chef.

Texture of Chettinad gravy was so bad. I can't explain how one get it so wrong.

I recently ordered take away and tried their pepper chicken dish. I have to say, it was hands down the best pepper chicken I've ever had in my life! The flavors were so well-balanced and the dish was cooked to perfection. Despite being a take away order, the chicken was still hot and juicy when I got home. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the service provided by the restaurant. I can't wait to order from them again.
