PK's Bakery — Restaurant in Dubbo

We came in today and purchased 2 large coffees to go, a bacon and egg roll, custard tart, butterfly cupcake & croissants. Approximately $30ish in total which wasn't too bad (would have cost more at McDonald's for less quality and still been hungry afterwards) & we got to support a local hardworking business which was most important to us.

Coffees were fine, tasted a little bit burnt but they were busy so it's a case of wait longer or deal with it and we were ok with that (Still better than fast food coffee). Thankfully I had sugar in my bag as we forgot to ask for sugar and there was no prompt for any.

Bacon and egg roll was fantastic. Bread used was delicious!!! REALLY REALLY DELICIOUS.

My husband is a man with minimal compliments and said he enjoyed he custard tart and complimented the croissant (noting he is French) and said while it's not traditional French croissant they did well.

Staff were really lovely too. I miss these types of bakeries, I wish there was more around like this one.

Next time we are in Dubbo we will definitely return and will recommend them to family and friends.

I recommend everyone come visit this business, not only was it delicious but it's supporting small businesses and was reasonably priced.

Great location , plenty of parking , went there today and had breakfast first good food good service polite staff then went. Back for lunch then was choosing what sort of roll to get and noticed there was a cockroach there inside the roll we bought it up to the staff and the lady there informs us atm there are big cockroaches getting around while she was telling us that there was another cockroach climbing over food that was there to be sold and this is all food like rolls sandwiches so we decided not to buy anything at all but disappointing

If there is a cockroach situation they need to really get it fixed not try to sell food with cockroaches inside the roll and crawling around

We had breakfast here on Saturday 14th August and witnessed the young staff that were working being treated appallingly by the women who is apparently the manager. The service provided by the staff was that of unhappy, on edge and scared staff. I watched one girl be berated about something that someone else had done on a previous shift (gave someone the wrong toast apparently) she was asked why she didn't tell the manager it had happened and was then told in a very aggressive manner "I will find out if you don't tell me, so you'd better tell me" this was done loudly and in full view of all customers. It was distressing to see young staff being treated this way. Young or old no one deserves to be...
