Occy's — Restaurant in Dunsborough

Worst dining experience ever. After sitting down outside and asking for the table to be cleared. We waited and asked again after 15 minutes. Decided to order the pulled pork pizza, squid and a couple of kids meals plus drinks. We waited well over 45 minutes for the food. Beer was terrible, and the kids drink order was mixed up. When the food finally arrived I asked if we could have some cutlery. Waitress nodded and ran off. I asked 3 times for the cutlery, only to have it given at the end of our meal.

The pizza was honestly the worst pizza I have ever come across. The base was so soggy , the toppings slopped off when picking up a slice. Was as if it had been microwaved with water. The pulled pork topping itself was bland and did not make any sense. Tried to eat 2 slices and left the rest. As we were eating we noticed a few tables had left plates full of uneaten food. Unsurprisingly as we went to pay - the group in front of us were telling staff about how unappetizing their burgers were. This particular staff member made no apologies and in fact took the criticism personally and became defensive. We also let her know about the pizza. She told us that we should have spoken up about it when we realized we didn't like it. That she doubts we have had better pizza else where and we should order something else next time. Uhh there will be no next time. Would not recommend to anyone who appreciates food and...

Service was great until the manager Liv decided that waiting 25 minutes and asking 3 times for tomato sauce was her version of customer service. Even after the third time asking (and the chips had gone cold) we ended up getting it ourselves. The place had maybe 15 people and 3 people serving/waiting tables. The steak sandwich was soggy, because they don’t toast the bread and the fish and chips were very small offcuts and burnt. It’s a shame we used to love this place being locals here but it’s changed for the worst and the mentality is no care factor. We had great fish and chips and the Dunsborough hotel opposite last week and I’d suggest going there rather than a business that’s operating to serve second rate food to tourists and third world attitude to customer service. The fact that someone thought she should be a manager makes me question what sort of example they want leading their staff....

Very disappointed with the customer service and the way Staff spoke to us. Extremely rude and condescending, then was given the wrong order and had to wait for them to get it right.

Fried cauliflower was excellent, Jalapeno poppers were good, Quesadilla was very average, the pork in the Bao buns was extremely dry and the was burger was just fine.

Overall the food was ok but nothing special. Very disappointed as I'd heard good things about this joint but the way Staff spoke to us and the aggressive and unnecessary tone they used in regards to our 6 year old eating something not bought from their restaurant, has really put me off ever wanting to return.

At the end of the day if you're gonna come out with that attitude, then make sure everything is bang on from your end because it most certainly wasn't. $133 for 3 adults, with that customer service...
