We've been to numerous distilety and bars yet very rarely we experience something worth mentioning. Dare I say, however, Bar Lee astounds me in many ways in such a short period within our visit in Echuca.
Menu - looking gorgeous with numerous selection of mouth watering bevy, along with their tasting flight for newcomers in town, and/or in the industry where you can have a taste of many of their in-house distilled signature alcoholic beverages. We ended up getting three bottles of gin and vodka to enjoy back in Melbourne to accompany our upcoming cold weather ahead.
Service - The 'BEST' by far in Echuca / Moama region. We've visited multiple food accommodation providers and none of them come even close to the kind of standard these guys at Bar Lee have set. Warm and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk through the front door, clear and accommodating introduction to the menu that intrigues us to get multiple things off it. One of the most important aspects that I hold dearly as somebody who works in the similar industry; how knowledgeable the staff are with the products they're selling. That sets a nice standard for the brand and speaks a lot for the venue itself.
If I could give these guys more than 5 stars, I would!

We were greeted warmly by staff, quickly had water brought to table and drinks order done. I selected a mocktail (see picture). Apologies for forgetting name but it had musk in it and was very refreshing. We then had bread and two dips, one tomato which was outstanding and the other a pumpkin but I wasn’t a fan. We then had entrees of adobo chicken and one chilli prawn. I dislike chilli but the chilli was minimal and both entree delicious. At this stage I was feeling really full but as the main course was included my husband choose the cheese beef burger and I had pork belly. The vegetables on the pork belly were beautiful and my husband ate my pork and he then enjoyed the some of his burger. Read moreLunch at Bar Lee was absolutely delicious. Great value for money inclusion in the Port to Plate ticket on the MS Canberra paddlesteamer. We all had toasted bread and dips to start, entree and main which were generous portions and a drink included too. Staff were super efficient and attentive. There were lots of gluten free options plus they were super accomodating at letting the gluten free\vego person change some meals up if they wanted (even though it was a set menu). Highly recommend we will definitely go back if I’m the area again. The only thing we disliked was the echo-i-ness of the downstairs part.
